meanwhile, with Everest and the other pups in a nearby forest.
Tuck (nervously): um, guys, are you sure we made the right choice?
Ella: Yeah, we do not know anything about this place.
Marsha: Well, we couldn't just stay there. The "portal master" 's dragon kidnapped us, remember?
Rex (scared): I say that we're better back there than being lost in the woods here.
Tracker: I'm with rex.
(back at the academy, in the command room)
Taylor (concerned): soo, now what?
portal master: (into sky-watch) Skylanders, to the academy!
Skylanders: the portal master needs us.
"lots of footsteps coming"
"Skylanders bust through the door"
funny bone slips for a water puddle for gill grunt's jetpack, rolls across the floor and bumps into double trouble, then the others, and they all land in a pile.
funny bone: water we doing again?
Everyone else laughed. in a bright flash of light, the Skylanders are instantly standing at attention, ready for their mission.
spyro: Skylanders, reporting for duty, portal master sir.
Portal master: ok gang. The pups wandered off and we need to find them. so we need all hands, paws, claws on deck, the plan is we split up and find them.
Skylanders: yes portal master.
Portal master: alright, Skylanders move out. (to Ryder and the others) And you guys too.
Katie: Well, let's go.
They follow the portal master and Skylanders to the portals to find the pups.
Back with the pups
Trisha: ok, first we need to make or find shelter so we're not stuck in the open.
Tracker: Sí, but i still think we should just head back.
They walked for around 23 seconds then they found a river
Uma: dudes, i don't know about all of you, but I'm thirsty.
Star: me too.
Rex: I think we should all have a drink.
The pups approach the water and lick up a drink.
rocksie: i say we set up camp here.
Everest: good idea.
but just as they were about to start, they hear what sounds like a rocket.
artic: do you all hear that?
Ella (scared): yeah, and it's getting close.
Trisha: I think we should hide.
Aries: Let's duck under the trees.
Trisha goes invisible as the others run beneath just as blastzone and boomjet fly past
Blastzone: see them?
Boomjet: nope, but i've got a feeling they're close.
They fly off.
The pups come out of their hiding spot.
Everest (scared): not good, they're looking for us.
Bessy: shouldn't we just go back?
Rex: Yeah, I still say we go back.
Uma: I'm with them, we should, uumm, how do we get back?
Timeskip: 30 mins
back with the Skylanders, they were searching both near and far, but to no avail.
row (worried): where are they? They know not to just run off.
Portal master: don't worry, we'll find them.
Timeskip: sunset
Cynder: portal master, how much longer are we looking?
Trailblazer: yeah, we've been searching all day.
Portal master: "sigh" fine, we're done for today but tomorrow we keep searching. understood?
Skylanders: understood.
Portal master: Well, I'm clocking out. See you guys tomorrow (he looks at the kids and sees they have concerned, worried faces).
he leaves and the Skylanders also turn in.
Back with the pups, they are doing surprisingly well.
They have old-fashioned but workable shelters for themselves (mainly just logs, vines and leaves), they're keeping out of view and they have decided that they'll take turns keeping watch.
But that doesn't mean they're doing well. Rex, Uma, the twins (both sets), Everest and a few others still think leaving without telling their owners wasn't a good idea.
Timeskip: Next morning (10:15)
Everyone was waking up and back outside looking for the pups but this time Ryder, Katie, Carlos and the others weren't going to be sitting back this time.
portal master: you sure you want to come?
Ryder: yes.
Portal master: "sigh" oh very well.
The pups also just awakened and were just talking with each other.
Little did they know that they were being watched.
Eye Brawl: eye found you.
Stinkbomb (in a nearby tree): that's for sure.
Trapshadow: we got to tell the others.
