As the portal master, flashwing, some of the other skylanders and Katie are with Everest inside the medical center.
Ryder, Jake, the pups
(especially Marshall, as he thinks this is his fault because he did nothing to stop them),
and the others are uneasily waiting outside for the results.
Then the portal master and Katie walk out of the door.
max: well, it wasn't easy. But she'll be fine.
Katie: There's also good and bad news.
Katie: bad news is she has to stay here for a few days.
Portal master: good news is she's awake.
Jake: Can we see her now?
Katie: yes.
Flashwing: just be gently, she has some broken bones.
Portal master: also, it may be an unpleasant scene for you guys.
They head inside and find Everest on a patient bed.
She had casts on her left front leg and back right leg.
(I have had casts before)
She had bandage wraps on her tail.
Her fur is still blood red.
She has a heart rate monitor on her right front leg and has a cone on.
She was indeed awake.
Her eyes were open, but just barely.
Everest (struggling to talk): j-j-jak-ke? Gu-uys? Is th-hat re-eally you?
Portal master: um, we're just going to give you guys some space.
Flashwing: So handsome? Are we still having dinner later?
Marshall: Umm, sure. See you then.
the skylanders and portal master leave.
Jake: Yeah, it's us.
Zuma: how awe you doing dudette?
Everest: I'll be fine, but I'm stuck here for now.
Marshall (tear-filled eyes): This is all my fault.
Ryder: Come on Marshall, It's not your fault.
Marshall: Yes it is. She's like this because I didn't do anything to stop her or flashwing.
He runs off.
Flashwing bursts back in with a worried look.
flashwing (worried): is marshall ok?
Skye: He's fine. He just needs some time to himself.
Flashwing (walks over to Everest's side): if it helps, the red actually looks good on you with your blue eyes.
Everest: "gives the dragon a small smile" thanks, that did help a bit.
Struggling, she manages to pull herself up.
chase: ah-ah-achoo.
Everest looks and sees that hotdog, scratch, funnybone and some of the Skylanders returned
Everest: what are you guys doing here?
Scratch: just came to see if you needed anything else.
Everest: no, I'm good.
Scratch walks up to chase.
chase: "sneeze" oh come on.
Scratch: so, want to hang out later and watch the sunset?
Chase's face goes red.
chase (blushing): umm, i don't see why not.
He turns and sees skye with a shocked look on her face.
scratch: or maybe...
"BEEP BEEP".
portal master (through the Skylanders' com-devices, and hotdog and funnybone's tags): Skylanders, to the academy!
Skylanders: the portal master needs us.
Spyro: Sorry kids. Gotto go.
The Skylanders rush out the door.
Spongebob squarepants narrative: 10 mins (7:30 that evening)
Ryder and his pups were hanging in their room when the portal master, hotdog, spyro, funnybone and scratch walked in, looking exhausted.
rocky: you guys look like rubble ran you over with his bulldozer. hahahaha!
The portal master snaps his fingers and a water balloon appear over Rocky's head, but then he looks up and jumps to the side.
Rocky: ha, miss me.
Portal master: did i?
He opens his left hand and points his open palm at the mix-breed.
Out of nowhere, a stream of water comes from his hand, spraying rocky.
rocky (screaming): ahh wet wet wet wet.
everyone else starts laughing.
skye: but what happened out there?
Scratch: let's just say that facing against those arkeyans robots wasn't easy.
Rubble: arkey-what nows.
Hotdog: arkeyans, ancient evil robots.
His legs give out and he falls on his stomach.
portal master: I know, and you guys were sky-rific out there. But right now, i'm heading home.
max turns and leaves.
