Over the next two days,
They looked for Skye.
Ryder: If we do find her, then what?
Portal master: pop fizz is working on an antidote
Rocky: And where do we keep her until then?
Gearshift: cloudcracker prison.
Ryder and his friends stop, mid-step.
Chase: Prison?!
Zuma: she's not a criminal!
Riptide: But there's nowhere safer than cloudcracker.
The pups turn to Ryder for back-up.
Ryder: Sorry pups, I'm with them on this one
At the end of the day, Sonic boom, Spyro, Chase, Rocky and the others saw that the portal master was still here.
They move closer.
There were bags on his eyes.
Sonic boom's motherly instincts kicked in.
Sonic boom: portal master, have you been getting any sleep?
Portal master: I'll catch some Z's once we catch Skye.
He walks off.
Marshall: should we do something about him?
Sonic boom: trust me, once he has made his choice, it's hard to stop him.
Spyro: But he's our leader, and he leads by example.
Sonic boom: yeah, he's also concerned about finishing the mission then his own safety.
Later that night
After everyone turned in for the night,
Skye emerges from her hiding place in a closet.
Skye: whew, that was close. But I think I'm good, for now.
"Growl"
Skye: Huh, I'm not in beast pup form right now. So what was that?
She looks around the room.
Skye looks down at herself.
"Growl"
Skye: oh, just my tummy.
She heads off.
Skye: I better look for something to eat.
She enters the kitchen.
Skye: Now what should I have?
Skye enters the pantry room.
Skye: Wow, it's way bigger on the inside.
She finds a bag of pup-food.
Skye (quietly): yay.
She eats some, but it doesn't agree with her stomach.
Skye: yuck, that did not agree with me.
She puts the rest back in the bag.
Skye: I'll try something else.
She sniffs around, but nothing seems to interest her.
But when she smells the portal master's leftover meat from his dinner,
Skye could not hold back.
Skye could feel her mouth watering.
Once on the counter, Skye picks it up with her mouth and runs off.
