the next day
after the Skylanders ate breakfast, Rocky is happy that his best friend was unharmed.
The others wanted Zuma to tell them what happened.
but he refused, saying that he's still scared and recovering from his encounterment.
Skye: oh please tell us.
Zuma (still shaking): I already say no, now stop it.
Portal master: he's right, Ryder and myself are trying to get him to calm down.
Ryder: and you're not helping.
Zuma said that he'll be fine, but is not going anywhere without someone else with him.
portal master: i don't blame him, since i was like that when i started off here.
Later
the portal master, bat spin, free ranger and blastermind are continuing their "snakes and sewers" game.
The kids were with them.
portal master: then monkey goblins attack. You have to roll a 2 or more to avoid being bitten.
The Skylanders roll their dice.
Blastermind: 5.
Free ranger: 6.
Spyro: 7.
But when Bat spin rolls, she gets a 1.
portal master: the monkey goblin bites. Bat spin loses... 11 health points.
Bat spin: what?! Give me that dice "grabs the dice", I'm using my healing potion.
Ryder: You guys are having fun.
Later
the portal master was in his lab.
Spyro, Ryder and the pups walk in.
They see him hold his hand out with a glove-like object with a circle-shaped object on his palm.
They approach him.
spyro: portal master sir, you said you were done making weapons.
Ryder and pups: what?
Spyro: long story, way before we met you.
Portal master: I am done with those. This is a flight stabilizer, it's completely harmless.
Then a laser shoots from it.
The recoil sends max flying clear across the room.
He smacks against the wall, sticks to it for a moment, then peels off and falls on the floor.
He stands back up.
portal master: I'm ok.
The others turn to spyro, then walk over to their friend.
portal master: relax you guys, I'm fine.
Rocky looks at the device in his hand.
Rocky: why did you make this in the first place?
Portal master: I invent when I'm bored.
Looking up, he sees how far he went.
portal master: i need to tune down the power levels.
He walks away.
As the others turn to leave...
