Just before Skye can reach them...
Boom bloom: oh no you don't.
She tries to grab Skye with her vine whip.
The pup jumps and it misses.
She turns back to Ryder.
She pounces, pinning him down.
Ryder: Skye, you don't have to do this.
Skye: yes I do, Ryder.
The other pups couldn't believe it:
Their owner was going to be killed by one of his own pups.
Skye raises her huge paw, claws out.
Skye: Well Ryder, nice knowing you.
The boy shuts his eyes.
Just as Skye swings...
Skye: OOOWW!! AAAHH!! EAGLE!!
Portal master: What, you don't recognize me?
Ryder opens his eyes again.
The portal master was on Skye's back.
His talons digging into her skin.
The Skylanders move in.
Skye: Get off of me!
Skye jumps around, causing the eagle to lose his grip.
She tries to make a run for it.
Ryder and the portal master block her.
Portal master: Where do you think you're going?!
Ryder looks at Skye with tear-filled eyes.
Ryder: Skye, please...
Skye: "Sigh" I'm sorry ryder.
She rams him, knocking the boy aside.
The portal master turns back to himself.
He drops to the ground.
Portal master: move it guys, she is not getting away this time.
The Skylanders race off after Skye.
The portal master turns into an eagle again and flies off.
Ryder and the pups look at each other.
Marshall: Well, what are we waiting for?
He runs off too.
Chase: "sigh" let's go.
They follow too.
They see the Skylanders gaining on Skye.
Portal master: starcast!
Starcast: on it.
The ninja throws one of his shurikens at Skye.
Skye: OW!
It hits her in the back right leg.
Ryder: What was that for?
The portal master glides down to the boy's level.
Portal master: you think we want to do this?
Rubble: um, no.
Stealth elf: of course we don't.
Portal master: So are you doing to help?
Zuma: What if we grab her?
Rocky: my pinchers won't reach.
Portal master: got it.
Suddenly, a floating hand made of bones with a spiked wristband appears.
Marshall: What the heck is that?!
Portal master: guys, meet the hand of fate.
It reaches Skye and starts grabbing her.
Skye: HEY, OW ,STOP IT, OUCH.
But the beast pup wasn't stopping.
Then, out of the corner of his eagle eye,
Mysticat

standing at the end of a connecting hallway.
The two Skylanders nod to him.
The portal master nods back.
Then they vanish.
Ambush: guys, i think that we're slowing down.
Spy Rise: yeah, look.
He points ahead.
Skye is bleeding and now she has a limp.
Ryder: Now's our chance!
Portal master: understood. Enigma, Mysticat. Now!
The two Skylanders suddenly appear in front of Skye.
She skids to a stop
To her, they're huge.
Skye: what th...
Enigma swings his staff at her.
Skye: "smack" OW!! "thunk" OUCH!! "whack" OW!!
Mysticat then shoots his "laser painter" beam at Skye.
Skye gets knocked out her feet.
She felled, then shrinks to her normal size
The others catch up.
The portal master turns back to himself.
Portal master: thanks guys.
They all turn to the unconscious pup.
Ryder: Now, let's get you somewhere safe.
He picks her up and they all leave.
