As the mortorhead speeded toward Marshall, the portal master's mind was racing, trying to think of someway to save the pup.
Then he felt something in his hands.
Marshall (screaming, tears falling): MMAAXX, SSSAAAVVEE MMMEEE!!
As the enemy vehicle drew closer, Marshall screwed his eyes shut in fear.
Just as it almost reached him
"POP, BANG, CRASH".
He slowly opened his eyes and sees the mortorhead is now lying on its left side and smashed into a streetlight.
Marshall (confused): Huh? what happened? It was coming right at me.
Wanting to know why it crashed, he walked closer.
Getting a better view, he can now see a large claw-like object stuck in the left back tire.
Marshall (confused): where did this come from?
Portal master: Marshall!
He runs to the pup giving him a big hug.
Marshall: aawww, thanks for saving me. Wait. Was that you?
max: as weird as it seems, yes.
Marshall: how?
Portal master: here's what happened...
Flashback
Marshal: AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Portal master: MARSHALL!!
max: Maybe if I pop the tires, but I need something sharp.
Then he felt something in his hands.
He looked at them and he couldn't believe it.
He now has claws coming from his knuckles and from his fingertips.
They were about a foot long, silver-colored and very sharp.
portal master (surprised): Wowzers, I didn't know I had these.
Marshall (screaming, tears falling): MMAAXX, SSSAAAVVEE MMMEEE!!
Portal master: oh right.
He then throws a claw at the enemy, popping the tire.
it crashes into the lamppost.
portal master: now if only i can hide these things.
As soon as he thought of not having them out, the claws then automatically retracted.
portal master: i could get used to this.
Flashback ends
portal master: and that's how i saved your life.
Marshall jumps on him and licks his face.
portal master (while laughing): marshall, stop it, stop.
He gets off.
portal master: now, let's go find the others.
Time skip: 21 seconds
Ryder: where are they?
Portal master: there you guys are.
They turn and see Marshall and the portal master coming towards them.
portal master: and i see someone found chase.
Rocky: So what happened?
After telling them about the mortorhead, the others were surprised.
