Ryder, the pups, the portal master and some Skylanders are hanging in the command room.
Skye: haven't they caught this "beast pup" yet?
Rocky: I'll be surprised if he even finds out who it is.
Zuma: I know, right. How does he... OW!!
A large, glowing blue war hammer knocks the three pups on the head.
portal master: i am sitting right here!
Chase: If I were leading his team, my leadership skills would have grabbed them by now.
Portal master: "leadership"? Ha. you couldn't lead rubble to a bag of pup-treats.
Chase: what?!
max: let alone lead my team.
Marshall (sarcastically): oh no, we're outmatched.
Rubble: Yeah righ...
The pups are suddenly floating in the air like someone has them by the throat.
pups: "choking noises''
They're trying to grab at their necks as if being strangled.
Ryder: um, what now?
They all turn to the portal master.
He's holding his right hand out as if he is holding a cup.
His hand tightens and the pups choke more.
Ryder can't bear to watch as this happens.
The 10-year-old turns away.
portal master (without Turning): next time, don't choke on your words, pups.
His hand opens and the pups fall back to the ground, and their lungs fill with air.
Chase stomps over to him.
chase: what was that for?
Portal master: then next time, don't tempt me.
Chase: why not?
"Finger snap"
a large, blue-glowing dentist drill appears before chase, floating in the air.
chase: "gulp" i just had to ask.
The drill spins to life.
chase: AAAAHHHH!!
The pup runs away in fear.
The drill follows him.
chase: nonono, it's following me!
Chase runs out the door.
Portal master (big smile): well, this should be fun.
He runs after him.
The pups turn to their owner.
Ryder: well, he's right about one thing: this should be fun.
He and the pups stand up and follow the others.
Back with chase
the shepherd runs down a hall with the drill on his tail.
chase: i got to lose it somehow, i know.
He turns a corner, and heads into a door.
The drill passes by.
Chase: "big sigh of relief". I'm safe now
"Metal scraping"
chase: wait, what's that noise?
He turns around and can't believe his eyes.
