As our heroes continue to find out which pup's the beast pup, they use the time to be with each other.
The pups were helping their friends search, then Chase hears someone talking to him
??: hey handsome.
chase turns and sees scratch, and blushes.
chase: h-hey scratch.
Scratch: so, want to hangout later and have lunch?
Chase turns bright red.
Just then, he sees Skye giving him a face.
Skye (to herself): come on, chase. You already have me.
He just brushes her off.
chase: um, ok.
Skye's face goes blank.
She turns away from him, her eyes giving off tears.
scratch: so, after we're done here?
Chase: sure.
(i don't dislike skase, i just wanted to put in something else).
Timeskip
Chase is following scratch on a walk.
When she stops, Chase then sees what Marshall saw.
Scratch turns to him, blushing.
scratch: ready for our date?
Chase heads to the table and sits down.
Afterward, they run into hotdog and funnybone, playing tug-of-war with a rope.
As the two lovebirds were heading back to the academy...
"heavy breathing"
chase (nervously): uuumm, scratch?
Scratch (nervously): yeah, i hear it too.
A shadow falls over them
both: "gulp".
They slowly turn around.
Chase's eyes shrink in fear as the beast pup towers over them.
He creeps behind scratch scared.
chase: "winping".
scratch (bravely): don't worry chase, I'll protect you.
Chase doesn't know what's weirder:
the beast pup coming out of nowhere.
Or allowing someone who's not on PAW patrol and not a pup to save him.
The beast pup then runs right at them.
Scratch (being a Skylander) bravely stands up to her opponent.
She uses "cat scratch" on the beast pup.
She gets some hits, but the pup just scratches her right back.
Scratch then uses "playful pounce".
She shines a laser from her helmet onto the beast pup, then tackles them.
chase (in amazement): wow, she is only about half the size of that thing, but she keeps fighting. She is so...
scratch: chase, look out!
Those words snapped him out of his thoughts.
He then sees the pup beast coming right at him, fangs bared.
