The others choose not to ask him what happened.
Later, the portal master is talking with drobot.
portal master: when can we get the DNA results?
drobot: we would have them by now
"lights flicker"
,but with all those power outages caused by these attacks, it's taking longer.
Portal master: so when can we get results?
Drobot: by my calculations, a few days.
Portal master: well well, the second they're in, tell me.
Drobot: yes portal master.
His leader walks away.
Later
The pups were playing with each other when...
Everest (in distance): AAAHHHH!
Portal master (in distance): give it back everest!
The other pups looked at Ryder and Jake.
Ryder: We should go check.
They head toward the noise.
They find the portal master chasing Everest.
The pup has a blue yarn winter hat on her head rather than her own hat.
She also has a scared look.
Everest: will you stop chasing me already?
Portal master: no, that's my hat!
Ryder, Jake and the pups just stare.
portal master: jake, can you tell Everest to give me my hat back?
jake: "Sigh" everest, give him his hat back.
Everest: I didn't know it was his.
Portal master: yes you did.
"Shwing"
The portal master's claws shoot at the pup, just barely missing.
Everest: oh come on.
The husky takes off running.
Portal master: oh get back here you.
He runs after her.
(i really will act like this if someone has my favorite hat)
rocky: Well, we better find her before she gets herself killed.
They search in hallways, garages, and storerooms.
But they can't find their friend anywhere.
Marshall: Where is she?
Everest (in distance): hey, stop it. Owow hothothot!
Portal master (in distance): give it back or I will turn you into my new scratching post.
Scratch: there they are.
She points down a hall.
Everest: ha, you're joking.
Portal master: I mean it.
Everest: you really think I'll fall for... OW!
He sent his claws into her tail.
The others recoil.
Rubble: that's gotta hurt.
They watch Everest pull her tail free and runs.
