July 2nd~ 3:00pm
It had been a tiring day. Fun but very tiring.
We had a lovely lunch at the beach cafe and played in the sea.
It was definitely the best birthday I had.
We were on our way back home in the car. We all got into the cars that we arrived in. We were all drained and had absolutely no energy.
As Chan, Seungmin and Han felt comfortable sleeping in the back, I moved to the passenger seat, which was next to Lee Know.
We drove for a while in silence until we heard snores at the back.
Lee Know rolled his eyes at the three who were fast asleep, as I attempted to stifle my laughter.
Lee Know broke the silence and said:
"Did you have fun today?"
The most normal question, he asked.
But did the most heart-fluttering thing.
His hand was stoking my head.
God, I probably looked like a fucking tomato. We were in traffic, so his eyes were on mine and his hand was in my hair.
He looked majestic. I tried to keep it cool and nodded.
"Good."
Once we got out of the traffic, his hand immediately left my hair and his eyes were now on the road.
How did he just do that?
Now the awkward silence was back.
I slowly took my phone out of my bag and looked through my messages. For a laugh, I decided to look back at our old messages from the Stray Kids group chat.
I remembered the night we played truth or dare.
I was busy laughing quietly at the texts when I saw the message I had completely forgotten about.

I had completely forgotten to ask him. If I had to be honest, I saw it coming. I did feel a bit upset but, it was meant to happen.
So I plucked the courage to ask him. Now. This second.
"Lee Know..."
He hummed in response.
"Y'know the night we all played truth or dare?"
"Oh yeah. Total waste of my time."
I had to act more enthusiastic. I had to act as if I was a friend. Not someone who was completely lovesick.
"Oh my god. I dunno if you remember but you said you had a crush. Who is it? Tell me."
I sounded a lot like I was complaining.
"Huh I did?"
I immediately showed him the text and to my surprise, he began cackling. It was so loud to the point where the rest woke up and began complaining.
Seungmin groaned loudly,: Shut the fuck up! People are trying to sleep!"
Then they went back to sleep.
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow as I really needed an explanation.
He calmed down a bit and simply said:
"It was just a joke girl. I thought everyone got it. But clearly not."
I was so annoyed. That really upset me as well.
I huffed and sat back in my seat, looking visibly annoyed.
Then I felt a hand.
I looked at him.
He tucked my hair behind my ear. I could feel his warm breath on my face. His boba pearl eyes looked at mine. He had a slight smirk on his face. He whispered:
"Why? What's wrong, princess?"
