Swiss had hoped more from a night out all by himself. He had hoped to find a nice girl to hook up with, or who knows, maybe even a guy. But all he did was sit at the bar, swirl his hundredth drink around and staring at the liquid. How boring. He looked around the bar again, but everyone there was either not alone, or not his type. He huffed, gulped down the rest of his drink and was already ready to leave when the door opened and a short guy walked in. Swiss paused and slowly sat back down, suddenly engrossed in that man's looks. He wore all black. Some black ripped jeans, a band shirt, one of those battle wests, and heavy black boots. His long blonde hair looked gorgeous in contrast to that.

Swiss was stunned, and all of a sudden he didn't feel like leaving anymore. Because Swiss was interested in him. Not just because he looked a lot different, but also because he had never seen him before. Swiss lived way over on the countryside, but his go to club was still pretty well visited, especially not just from the inhabitants of his city, but from quite a lot places. But still, Swiss had never seen someone such as that guy. He was sure of that. Maybe it was just that he looked generally so different what caught Swiss' attention. He could tell there were worlds between those two, without having exchanged a single word with him.

There was him, Swiss, the guy with sweet, southern charm that perfectly matched his love for country music and rustic lifestyle. He was the epitome of a laid-back attitude, with an easy grin that hid a lot more than he'd like. And there was him. That guy. A brooding dude with a constant frown, a pretty introverted demeanor and how Swiss guessed, a quite tortured soul. Swiss had a hunch on that. He could see it in that man's eyes, because once there had been a time that Swiss had felt the same, when Swiss' eyes had looked the same, and missed that spark of life. But he had long tried to hide that between warm sunsets in his cabin and strums on his guitar. Maybe that's what he found interesting about that guy too. That Swiss could see something in him, that he had once been himself.

Swiss decided to give it a try. He ordered a drink for the blonde man, picking out something classical, something he knew basically everyone liked. And then he scooted closer. But for the first time in a couple years, he felt like he had lost all his self-esteem. He had no clue how to start a conversation, and he was worried about being rejected. Because it was likely that would be the case. But he went for it. He felt like he would never see that man again, so he either tried it now, or he would never get the chance again.

"I like your style. I don't think I've ever seen you around, have I?" Swiss asked with one of his signature grins. The guy looked over, his frown deepening before he looked away again. Swiss stomach dropped, and he felt his gut twisting. He waited for a moment, unsure of what to do next. He had already embarrassed himself, and he also didn't want to make the guy feel uncomfortable. Or any more uncomfortable than he already was, if anything. Swiss slumped back in his chair, grumbling something under his breath. And then the drink he ordered was placed in front of the other guy, and Swiss perked up again.

"Sorry, I didn't order-" before he could finish, the bartender nodded to Swiss, who smiled nervously and looked to the side, not wanting the other to see his slightly blushing cheeks. "What is this...?" "An Old Fashioned" Swiss heard the bartender's familiar voice reply. "Ugh... I don't like this drink..." the smaller guy grumbled, and at once Swiss' head whipped around again. "What!? You don't like an old fashioned...?" Swiss asked. Suddenly, his confidence was back, rushing through him at full force. The other man raised an eyebrow, "uh, no...? But thanks, I guess" Swiss waved it off, shaking his head. For a moment there was silence, until Swiss spoke up again, "I thought everyone liked that drink. It's a classic" he said with a small chuckle. "Yeah right... never been a fan, though. You can have it, if you'd like. I will just order for myself"
