Rain opened the door to the living room, carrying a folder with him as he entered. He looked around the room for a moment, but he only saw Swiss and Cirrus, not the ghoul he was looking for. He already mentally rolled his eyes. "Hey, have you seen Phantom?" the water ghoul then asked, still standing partly in the doorway. Swiss looked up first, shaking his head, and Cirrus followed, also shaking her head. Rain sighed in frustration. "I think he already went to his room, though. I think he wanted to take a shower and all that," the ghoulette spoke up. Rain perked up, nodded and flashed her a smile, "thanks Cirrus!" She waived it off with a chuckle, "don't mind it."
Rain chuckled and turned on his heel, walking out of the living room and closing the door behind him. He hummed to himself as he went down the hallway, back to the ghoul's bedroom hallway. He came to a halt in front of Phantom's, gently knocking on the door, and waiting for an answer. But he didn't receive any. He sighed and knocked again, waiting patiently. As he didn't receive any answer this time either, he listened closely, thinking he might be taking a shower right now. He should be able to hear the water running from the hallway, but he didn't. A frown appeared on his face, and he figured he'd just have a look what was up with Phantom. Maybe he was just asleep, but somehow the water ghoul had the urge to at least check.
He carefully opened the door and peeked inside. The curtains were still opened, and Rain could see that the bed was most definitely empty. His frown just deepened at this. He walked in and placed the folder he still carried on a nearby shelf. As he was just about to call out to Phantom, he heard a pretty loud noise coming from the bathroom. It sounded like something, or maybe someone falling. The water ghoul quickly panicked, and without thinking any more about it, he quickly opened the door to the bathroom and walked in. He could've guessed it, but he was still struck with a damn sight.
For a moment, Rain just stood there, eyes solely focused on the young quint's bare backside. Water dripped down from his hair, and his whole body was wet. The water ghoul drew in a sharp breath, watching as Phantom bent down to pick up the shampoo bottle he had accidentally dropped. That's when Rain forced himself to look away, but he somehow couldn't bring himself to leave. Hearing the noise, Phantom turned around with a curious glint in his eyes, but it changed very damn quickly into embarrassment as he noticed Rain standing there and staring at him out of the corner of his eye. He could see he was trying not to make it too obvious. Phantom blushed, his hands rising up to cover his crotch from the other's view.
"Uh... what's wrong?" he asked, his voice wavering a little, showing just how nervous he was. Rain cleared his throat, trying to look everywhere but at Phantom. It was hard though. He had such a pretty, slender body. Not too muscular, but some nicely defined abs. And with water drops all over his skin, he looked so damn attractive. Rain didn't want to think about another pack member like that, much less so about Phantom. He was the youngest from them after all. By far. The water ghoul swallowed thickly, lifting his gaze to meet the younger's. It took everything he had to keep his eyes there, and nowhere else. "I- I just wanted to bring you some notes... Papa told me to... uh... pass them on," he said, suddenly just as flustered as the other ghoul.
There was a moment of odd silence. Rain was confused with himself. Why did he not leave? What reason was there to stay in the bathroom, when Phantom clearly needed time to himself to shower? Rain cleared his throat and slowly turned to leave, but suddenly Phantom called out to him, "wait!" The older ghoul turned around with a raised brow. He felt his eyes trail down, and he quickly closed them before he locked eyes with Phantom again. "Yeah?" he asked, and Phantom swallowed thickly. There was a tense silence again. Neither of the ghouls said something, they just stood there and looked at one another.
