Some angst to fluff :P
(this could be titled Swiss x Ghouls too, I was unsure what to put, you'll see why)

There was a heavy silence settling over the summoning room. Only Mountain, Aether and Dewdrop were left from the former Papa, Terzo, and now the new guy, Copia, had to summon his own ghouls. For his first one, he wanted something easy, and he had heard that apparently water ghouls are supposed to be quite easy and simple to summon. The cardinal had taken a couple days to memorize the spell and everything else that was part of the ritual. And he knew that he had three other ghouls with him when would hold the ritual, and they knew how summonings usually looked like. He wasn't completely on his own, and he would surely managed to perform an easy ritual right? Well, he was wrong.

"What... is that?" Dew blurted out, not quite thinking about what he was about to say. His brows were furrowed in confusion as he looked at the ghoul sitting in the middle of the summoning chamber. He had been there when both Aether and Mountain had been summoned, and this ritual hadn't looked or felt much different from the ones he had seen before. But the outcome was what confused him, and so it did the others. There was a ghoul sitting in the summoning chamber, but it wasn't a water ghoul like planned. And really, none of them could tell what type of ghoul he was. They had trouble deciphering what element he could have. For a moment Dew had thought that maybe Copia had accidentally summoned a quint, but the ghoul had a tail that looked more like a fire ghoul's. And then his eyes were more looking like an air ghoul's, and his horns were unlike anything anyone of them had seen before.

"I don't know... what's his element?" Aether asked and studied the ghoul closely. The newbie was looking up at the four figures, his eyes wide as he looked almost frightened. He hadn't heard much from them yet, only got weird looks that made him feel a little uncomfortable. He didn't want to be looked at like that. And the hushed voices didn't make it any easier either. "I can't tell. He doesn't have a normal aura either, it's all so- vague. So mixed, sort of," Mountain piped up. The earth ghoul was usually able to feel one's aura with his element, but for this one it wasn't quite possible. There was an aura, a quite strong one at that, but unlike usually, the earth ghoul couldn't tell what sort it was. It had a little bit of quintessence, fire, water, air and even earth. But none of it was stronger than the other.

"For lucifer's sake-" All the ghoul's head whipped around as Copia spoke up. He hadn't said a word since the new ghoul had successfully been summoned. Well, more or less successfully. He was healthy, clearly, but Copia just couldn't understand what exactly he had summoned. And why wasn't it a water ghoul like he had wanted it to be? What had he done wrong? There was another pause, and eventually the cardinal sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping, "take him to one of the empty rooms. I will find something to do with him eventually." The three ghouls nodded and moved their gazes back to the new ghoul, while Copia left the summoning chamber, clearly still feeling defeated and irritated.

The new ghoul looked up to the three figures standing in front of him. He was shaking a little, probably both, from feeling cold and from feeling uncomfortable. He had heard what they had said, especially what Copia had said. He was utterly confused. Not only did he have he no idea what had happened, where he was, or who exactly that had been, let alone what kind of creature it had been. He had never seen a human before, after all. And now he got those looks from the ghouls in front of him. They looked irritated too, confused and maybe there was even some disgust to it? He couldn't tell, but it all together sent an unpleasant shiver down his spine.

But in reality, neither Mountain, Aether or Dew knew how to approach the newbie. They all stood there, absolutely clueless what to do. Usually, it was easy to tell how to approach a new ghoul who was still new to the ministry and everything that was different on the topside. A fire ghoul was to approached very carefully for example, due to their high temper, or a water ghoul should be handled with special care, and gentleness. But that one? Who knew? Maybe he would snap at them any given moment, or maybe he was scared out of his mind. And maybe he was as unfazed as an earth ghoul would be. None of them wanted to risk it, and for the new ghoul it clearly seemed like disgust and made him feel rather unasked-for.
