Bondage. What had started off as a way to ground the young quintessence ghoul into the moment when feeling overwhelmed, had long since transformed into something else. For the first couple times it had been just that - Mountain tying him up with a rope that would carry him as much as the earth ghoul's voice and touch. But with each time they did it, something shifted. Phantom could tell from the very beginning how much Mountain liked it. He knew he had a thing for it. But really, he couldn't blame him, because now he wasn't much better than the earth ghoul. Over the months new things established - trust and rules. Safe words were added, different types of ropes were added, toys were added and the bond between them deepened with each time as well.
And while the occasion wasn't always just 'there is too much going, help me through it' anymore, today was such a day for Phantom, and he had craved Mountain's attention all day already. It was already past dinner when he finally stood in the doorway of Mountain's room. His heartbeat was already faster, his breath heavier, just from the look the earth ghoul gave him - steady and calm, and yet with that quiet, underlying burn of lust. The room smelled faintly of moss and something smokier, lit candles casting shadows across the darkened room that was covered with all sorts of plants. It was something Phantom had come to get used to, and love. Phantom stepped forward, the door falling into its lock with a soft thud.
"Hey, little bat," Mountain greeted with a small smile, as gentle as always. But Phantom could see that special glint in his eyes. Mountain had probably sensed his distress earlier, and he had probably known since then what it would lead to. Only when Phantom stepped closer he noticed the black box on the nightstand. It was their special box - containing a few things they liked to use on occasions like these, some merely physical, some of them emotional. The sight immediately brought a faint blush on the quint's cheeks.
Mountain rose slowly from where he sat, towering as always, but never looming - not when it came to Phantom. His movements were as as calm and deliberate as always, making sure to never make the quint feel uncomfortable in any way. He reached out, gently brushing his fingers over Phantom's cheek and a strand of hair behind his ear, out of his face. "Feeling like something rough tonight?" he asked, voice low but warm, making Phantom feel all fuzzy. Phantom's blush got worse, but any last bits of hesitation melted under Mountain's closeness. He would sometimes find himself considering this whole idea - but at the end he would always come back to the same conclusion; with Mountain, he would surrender. He knew he would be carried. He knew that he liked it rough, and that the earth ghoul would still have a watchful eye on him, and stop whenever he needed to.
"Words, darling. I need to know how bad it is today," Mountain said, his hand brushing over Phantom's neck. It still held a faint, reddish mark from where the rope had sat last time, maybe a little too tight. Mountain smiled at the memory. With a shaky, but deep breath, Phantom finally spoke, hands coming up to clutch at Mountain's hips. "Really bad... I've been stressed all day. Wanna calm down... wanna be held by you." Mountain knew what that meant. Tonight would be another rough one - yet careful. Nights like these were always hard to figure out at first, because each time, Phantom would crave something slightly different. But the earth ghoul always managed to find just the right path to take.
He led Phantom to the bed, one of his large hands resting in the small of his back as they walked. There was a shift in the air - the quiet tranquility of Mountain's room turning into something more burning, something glowing. "You know how it goes - you tell me when to stop. If you don't like it, if it's too much, if it's not what you want... say it." Phantom nodded, scurrying up on the bed to settle down on his knees, looking up at Mountain with his wide, mismatched eyes. The earth ghoul smiled. For now, things were still gentle, but they both knew it wouldn't last long. "Arms up..." Mountain murmured, and once Phantom did as told, he grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled the shirt over his head, discarding it into some corner that already held a pile of clothes. For a short moment Mountain allowed his eyes to rake the young ghoul's bare chest - taking in that raw beauty he liked to call his.
