Dom: Sunshine

This is actually my first time writing smut for two girls 😭 And also, this is one is very long, and very slow burn, that's why I also marked it with fluff! I'm sorry for all the emotional smut and long ass oneshots lately 😔🙏🏼

Aurora stood off to the side, silently taking care of the things she had used during the practice; her mic stand and mic, wires, etc. The hustle and bustle around her was loud, ghouls chatting loudly with one another as they packed away their own stuff, but she tended to stay by herself, not wanting to intrude anyone's private bubble of people.
She was still the new one. It had been a couple weeks now, and if she thought about it, it might've been months already. None of her new packmates had greeted her with anything else than love, and yet she didn't feel like she was one of the pack yet. Not naturally so, at least. The other multi ghoul of the band, Swiss, had found his liking for her, and the two got along quite well, and especially during rehearsals they would joke and banter around quite a lot. Aurora was a bubbly, energetic ghoulette, easy to love and like. Even the more harsher ghouls that didn't like changes within their dynamic, like Sodo, had warmed to her fairly quickly, and she definitely knew to not take that for granted. So really, she didn't have any reason to feel left out.
But it were moments like these - moments were they all stood together, talking about things that have been way before she had ever set foot on the world of the living, that she didn't know how to join in. It were moments like these that she could only stand all the way by herself, maybe watching the others, giving a laugh or a nod, but she couldn't join in like she wished she could. Deep down, Aurora knew it wasn't really their fault. They probably just didn't think about it, and she couldn't blame them for it, but it still stung in its own way. Like there was a blanket being wrapped around her heart - it was making her happy and comfortable to be around people who accepted and liked her, and yet she was slowly suffocating from it.
"Hey, Aurora!" Swiss suddenly called out, the sound making her snap out of it and nearly dropping the mic she had still been holding. She straightened up, clutching the microphone tightly and blinking up at the other multi that stood across the room. Only then she noticed that everyone else had left already, the rehearsal room drowned in silence she hadn't noticed before. "What's up?" her voice was tentative and quiet, something raw echoing with it, even though she tried to push it down. She simply hoped Swiss wouldn't ask her about it. "Just wanted to make sure you're okay," Swiss replied, his tone gentler now, "you want to tag along?" "Where are you going?" "Out for a drink downtown."
"Oh..." She shifted on her feet for a moment, her gaze dropping down to the mic in her hands she kept her hands busy with. The thought was both equally appealing and terrifying. She knew that it would be a great opportunity to get further in touch with her new pack, to find out things about them and get to know them on a deeper level. She wanted that - that attention, that feeling of someone noticing her like Swiss did right now, and yet the same time, it made her feel exposed, like he was seeing straight through every mask she wore. It made her want to crawl into her own skin, wrap up in a hoodie too big for her delicate body and hide in her bed. She didn't want the other ghouls to realize how insecure she really felt sometimes. She didn't want to appear as weak to them.
Before she could even make up her mind, Swiss spoke up again, his voice carrying silent understanding, "you know, maybe next time." Aurora lifted her head again, her hands now still, her breath catching in her throat. She swallowed, slowly nodding her head as a smile tugged at her lips. She couldn't even put into words how grateful she was for Swiss sometimes. "Yeah... maybe next time. Still, thank you for thinking of me." "Of course, princess," he assured, "can't just forget about my new little friend." She chuckled softly and nodded at him. Things were so carefree between them - as if they had known each other for a while already. He flashed one of his signature smiles back at her, "go fetch Sunny, hm? She's down in the den." And with that, he already left the room, the sound of the door falling shut behind him echoing off the walls of the now silent room.
