Some transmasc and water ghoul Dew for you :p
(and era 3)

It had been a long day for the band. With the ghouls speaking with Terzo about a new album cycle and what would come with it, they had been in some kind of meeting for eight hours straight. And now they were all done with everything. Dew was complaining the whole way back to his and Aether's shared room, who had to listen to all his groaning and whining. The taller ghoul didn't mind it that much. He was just happy to finally be done with all that talking and discussing. It had felt like hours, and even worse so because they all knew this new album would most likely never get made. They all knew it was more likely that Terzo would get killed before he could even start thinking through all their new ideas again.

Aether felt another wave of exhaustion hitting him as Dew groaned. He himself wasn't even that tired, but Sodo was, and since they had become mates a couple weeks back, Aether very much felt everything Dew did. At least when they were close together. Technically Aether liked it. He liked being a quintessence ghoul and being able to pick up on his significant other's feelings. But on days like these, he would rather not be able to. It had upsides, sure, but today it was just annoying and he wished to be able to turn it off somehow. It was tiring. His limps felt heavy and his muscles were practically lit on fire. He was dragging himself down the hallway just as much as the water ghoul next to him was. But for the sake of his boyfriend, Aether would keep up with it and just endure it.

As they arrived at their room, they both immediately went to the bed and flopped down. Both ghouls felt the exhaustion seep into their bones, making their bodies feel heavy and limp. Maybe they would just end up sleeping with their uniform instead of comfy clothes. Neither of them felt like standing up again, much less so as the water ghoul rolled a little over and snuggled up against Aether's side. The quint sighed and wrapped an arm around Dew. He knew the water ghoul was probably even too tired to speak, but Aether was also too exhausted to connect their minds right now.

As a quintessence ghoul, he had a few abilities. That meant in general he had healing abilities, with which could heal wounds and cure some diseases. And with his mate, so Dew, he had a special connection. All ghouls did as soon as they placed their marks on each other, but a quint had more. A quint could feel, what his mate feels. And even more so, he could connect their minds. He loved this ability the most. He loved how could link their minds together, and how they then could communicate through that. They didn't need to talk out loud, so even through a long ass meeting, they could chat or even have dirty talk, with no one else noticing. But it cost him a lot energy. And he couldn't bring this up right now.

Aether opened his eyes and turned his head, just to see Dew being fast asleep. Well, that explained the calm he suddenly felt. The quint smiled softly and let out a relieved sigh. He sat up and very delicately undressed Dew. He knew how grumpy the smaller could be when he woke up, still dressed with his boots and belt and especially his mask. After Aether had successfully reduced Dew's clothes to only his boxers, he then began to remove his own clothes to be more comfortable, and once he had managed that, he moved beside Dew again and draped the covers over the two of them. Once settled, he pulled the water ghoul into his arms like they were before, and before he knew it, he was fast asleep like his partner.

Dew dreamt that night. And lucifer below, what a dream he had. Dew didn't have wet dreams often. He normally actually didn't dream at all. But today, he had a very damn good, and even a very vivid dream. He always got a lot attention from Aether. Hell, those two were practically always all over each other. But in that dream, everything was just so much more thrilling
