Swiss is a vampire in this oneshot, as the title probably already suggests :)

Many people think that Vampires are a myth, much like ghouls supposedly are. But ghouls do walk the earth, and in a way, so do vampires. There are such things as ghoul hybrids - for example a ghoul vampire hybrid. They were rare, but it was possible. And the ministry of ghost had managed to summon just that when they held the ritual for the summoning of none other than their first multi ghoul; Swiss. He was a ghoul like any other, but with a couple special traits that did make him a little different. His fangs were longer than the one's of other ghouls, he lusted for blood, was overly sensitive to sunlight and he didn't have a reflection when he looked into a mirror. Some members of the church even rumored that he could shapeshift into a bat.

After about three years of living in the ministry with his pack, Swiss felt very much at home, and just as much loved as everyone else. The first couple of weeks and months after his summoning had been a little difficult, because no one exactly knew what to think of a vampire ghoul; Swiss was their first one. But when Copia, who had back then only been Cardinal, noticed that the multi ghoul wasn't getting crazy when he didn't feed for a little while, and also didn't attack any sibling of sin that wandered the halls mindlessly, he also managed to accept him just fine. The vamp ghoul wasn't any more dangerous than any other of their ghouls. Swiss was then welcomed with open arms, and as loved and coddled as every other ghoul as well.

But one ghoul, their newest addition to the pack, had no idea. Phantom had just recently been summoned, and he had no idea about Swiss being a sort of vampire. Because one important thing was, that very few ghouls actually knew about those hybrids. No one from the band had known that was even possible before they met Swiss, and so the new quint had no idea either. He wasn't even told, because quite frankly, no one thought about it. At this point it was just so normal to everyone, that no one thought about clearing that bit up for the newbie.

Phantom eventually figured it out himself. Well, in a way at least. He merely picked up on a bit of stuff that seemed weird to him. One day, he sat alone with Swiss in the living room, and that's when he dared to speak up. "Hey Swiss?" "Yeah?" "I was just wondering... I've been here for two months now, and usually we all eat together. But you've never been there with us." Swiss eyebrows furrowed for a moment, and he looked at Phantom questioningly. He didn't think he would ever get asked something like this. But he remembered that no one had ever told Phantom, so it was obvious that he'd have some questions. "And also... you never go out with us when it's such nice weather outside. Rain had asked me a couple times before if I want to join him in the pond... why do you never come?"

Swiss really could only find him adorable. Those questions were so innocent, they almost made the multi ghoul's heart melt. He did feel like teasing the quint, but he ended up deciding against it. "I just... don't like the sun. It makes me uncomfortable." "Really? Do you get like... rashes? Are you allergic?" Swiss chuckled softly, shaking his head, "no... no. Let's just say that I get burnt very easily." The quint nodded in understanding, accepting that as an answer. "And why do you never eat dinner with us?" Swiss had to pause there, and think about how to explain. It was probably easiest if he just... went with it. Sooner or later Phantom would have to find out anyways. Besides, did he really have to hide it? Everyone knew it, and no one cared.

"Yeah well... you see, I can't eat any solid food. I get my nutrition from somewhere else." Phantom seemed to think about that for a while, seemingly trying to make sense of it. "So... what else do you eat? Or drink." "I have to drink blood," Swiss explained, showing off his fangs for a moment, "you see these? This is how I feed. I am a vampire ghoul, Phantom." The quints eyes widened, and Swiss could see his tail flick with curiosity. "Really!?" Swiss chuckled, nodding in confirmation. "Show your fangs again!" Phantom exclaimed, excitement filling his voice. Swiss was nice enough to open his mouth one more time, letting Phantom check out his fangs. The vampire ghoul just found the younger one too cute to refuse it.
