It's a mixture of Terzo x Omega and a teeny tiny bit Alpha x Omega, actually :)

When Omega woke up, he quickly realized that he and Terzo still lay in the same position as last night when they had fallen asleep. Terzo's face was still pressed into his chest, and Omega's arm was wrapped securely around him. A soft smile grazed both of their lips, even while Terzo slept. Omega didn't know he could be so lucky, that he had Terzo as his beloved boyfriend and that they were still both together in the ministry, even after they had both retired from the band. When the clergy had announced Terzo's time as Papa was over, and Cardinal would take over, the large quintessence had been so damn scared that he would have to go back to the pit. It wasn't necessarily hell itself he was scared about, it was more the fact he wouldn't have Terzo with him. But luckily, the human had stood up for him, letting him stay in the ministry along with some of his other ghouls like Alpha or Aero.

Now their days were filled with lazy mornings and a lot of long nights, and though they still had a little work to do, it was much less before and they more time for each other. Today, Omega was even more clingy than usual. As Terzo stood in the bathroom to brush his teeth, his ghoul stood right behind him, his arms tightly wrapped around the smaller's waist and his face buried in his neck. Omega didn't know why, but he somehow felt the urge to not leave Terzo out of his sight today. Terzo couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable his 'big scary ghoul' was being. Sometimes, he really was just a pretty huge, cuddly cat. "What's it with you today, hm?" Terzo asked after he had spit the remaining toothpaste into the sink. "Mhm... nothing" Omega replied, though his voice was muffled by Terzo's neck.

"Mhm... okay, if you say so, amore mio" the smaller man murmured and turned around to face Omega, "I'll be out tonight to play some games with my brothers, sì?" Omega frowned in response to that, somehow having a bad feeling about this in his gut, but he knew better than to forbid the former papa anything. "Do you have to...?" he still asked, and Terzo smiled softly. He moved his hands up to bury them in Omega's hair, who let out a soft, content hum at that. "Sì, mio amore. We've been planning this for a while, is there a problem with that?" Omega hesitated. He didn't want to scare Terzo with saying he had that strange feeling in his gut, so he ended up shaking his head and telling him everything was alright. He would regret that later on, but he didn't know that yet.

They spend the day mostly in their bed, cuddled up together and just having some lazy conversations. Omega couldn't shake off that strange feeling he still had, but he didn't want to voice it either and make Terzo worried. So Terzo ended up getting ready for his night with his brothers. Omega kept telling himself that he wouldn't even leave the ministry, so there was no reason to be worried. His love would stay relatively close by, so he just had to push all his negative thoughts away for now. They shared one last kiss, before the door closed and Terzo disappeared into the hallway. The ghoul slumped back down on the bed, holding his head in his hands as he kept staring at the closed door. Just what was it he could feel? What was this negative feeling? It frustrated him, not knowing what it was.

He tried to shut it out. He lay down in bed, snuggling up under the blankets that smelled so much like his beloved boyfriend. He put on a movie, one of their favorites, in hopes it could distract him. It didn't, but it did help to ease his mind a little. He kept telling himself that everything was okay, that Terzo simply had a night out with his brothers. They didn't do it often, so they deserved to do that now.

But just as he was about to relax, as his mind slowly began to shut down, a sudden jolt of pain ran through his already worried mind. He sat up in bed, and a cold sweat immediately broke out. His pulse was suddenly much higher, and all his senses on high alert; something happened to Terzo. He didn't know what it was yet, but he did know there was something. He didn't wait a second to jump out of bed, running down the hallway while he tried to remember if Terzo had told him where they would meet. He tried to keep his panic at bay, knowing it wouldn't help him think. It would only make it harder. He ran down the hallway, checked multiple rooms but he didn't see Terzo anywhere. His Terzo. He got frustrated when he didn't immediately find him, but he kept on looking. Eventually he reached the last room of that hallway, and as he barged it open, he was met with a sight that sent a shiver down his spine. An awful, cold shiver.
