CHAPTER 16

It has been months since I've been dating Kade, and balancing all the parties of my life. From spending time with my family— at least twice a month because being a law student really like you are carrying full package baggage. As for friends, I don't really have a lot of friends, since I distance myself from having because aside from they are abusing me, no one is real, well— aside now that I have Soleia, and Jake also, the two of them are my friends. And of course, Kade. Since we are classmates, both of us can really spend a lot of time— mostly, study date.

“Hey, what are you thinking?” Kade asked me. He must've noticed that I was tulala. Well, I am just thinking about life lately.

“Life lately.” I honestly answered. Funny how my life suddenly changed. From being an independent girl boss who enjoys accompanying herself all the time, and spends time nothing but her family only. But now, I have friends— though, they are not a lot, but at least the real ones. And of course, Kade, the one who enlightened my dark world of romantic love.

“I know naninibago ka parin, 'di ba?” Tanong nito saakin. Tama naman siya, bagong pangyayari 'to sa buhay ko. But, hindi na naman talaga ako literal na “naninibago” na talaga. It's been months, and nasasanay na ako.

“I'm new to having friends and a lover, but nasasanay na naman ako. I'm happy. Thank you, Kade.” He smiled at me as he opened his arms for me to hug him.

I sat on his lap and rested my head on his shoulder. Argh! His smell is so addicting.

“You liked my smell huh?” Napabalikwas ang ulo ko sa sinabi nito. Oh my God! He must've noticed that I was lowkey sniffing his neck.

“Fine. You smell so good.” Ngumiti ito saakin and he gave me a smack kiss on my lips. His usual effect, I turned red.

“You look like a strawberry, baby.” Pinalo ko ang braso nito dahil sa nang-aasar ito. Pero, ayos lang, at least hindi talaga literal na tomato ang sinabi nito.

“What?? I know you love blue. Alangan sabihin ko “you look like a blueberry babe.” Hindi naman blue ang cheeks mo.” Umalis ako sa lap nito at inirapan siya. Really?? Mas inasar niya pa talaga ako.

“You are bad! I'm not gonna hug you anymore nor let you kiss me. I hate you!” I was about to walk away when he grabbed my waist and I was back on his lap again.

“I love you.” He said as he looked at me in the eyes full of sincerity. Argh! He knows how to get me.

“Palibhasa nadadaan mo talaga ako sa isang i love you! Nako! Nakakainis ka parin Thad—” I wasn't able to finish my words because he kissed me again. But, this time, it's not just a smack kiss. It's a freaking passionate kiss!

I encircled my arms around his neck while kissing. At ang kaninang nasa mukha kong mga kamay niya ay ngayon bumaba na sa bewang ko, at unti-unting pumapasok ito sa loob ng t-shirt ko. He was about to unhook my bra when someone knocked at the door. Dali dali naman akong bumitaw at inayos ang damit ko. I sat on the chair and told him to open the door. Baka kapatid niya. Bakit kasi dito kami tumambay?

But, it wasn't his brother. It's Soleia, and she is freaking smirking at me. What??? Halata ba talaga pag ganon?

“Bebe ko, bakit pulang pula ang labi mo at medyo nakalat ang lipstick mo?” Oh! Crap— I should've applied my waterproof lipstick earlier!

“Uh...” I was about to explain when she raised her hand as a sign to stop my words. Lumingon naman ito kay Kade, at pagkatapos bumaling ulit sa akin.

“You two should check your messenger! Sabi ko na nga ba kasi eh! May sudden class tayo mamayang 4:00 pm, exam sa criminal procedure, iyong imbes na for tomorrow kasi may appointment si Attorney Montero sa government. Alam mo namang aside from being an attorney professor, government lawyer rin siya.” Sabi nito. Hays! Buti nalang, kaka-study lang namin sa subject na 'yan.
