Sa sobrang bilis ng mga araw, hindi namin namalayan na dumating na ang petsa na pinakahihintay namin ni Kade, and our family. Ang araw kung saan malalaman na namin kung pumasa ba kami sa BAR exam.
“Ikaw na ang tumingin, kuya!” Pag u-ulo ko kay kuya. Nasa sala kami ng bahay namin, kaming lahat pati pamilya ni Kade ay nandito rin. Sabay daw kasi naming titignan kung nakapasa ba kami.
Kuya Austin opened the laptop, pinikit ko naman ang mata ko habang hinahawakan ang kamay ni Kade. Kinakabahan ako, what if hindi ako pumasa? Siguro, lilipad ako abroad. I can't lose... I graduated top in law school, just by thinking of it— siguro, I can't face the embarrassment...
My thoughts were cut when everyone shouted and hugged me. I slowly opened my eyes and look at the results...
T-Top one ako! I didn't just pass... I aced the BAR exam!
Tinignan ko naman ang sumunod saakin, it was Kade! Isang point lang ang lamang ko sa kanya. I exclaimed happily and hugged Kade.
“We made it!” Tears because of joy streams down to my cheeks while hugging Kade. I can also see in his eyes how happy he is. Ganon din ang family namin.
“This calld for a celebration!” Said by Kade's mom.
Nag-agree naman ang lahat, habang ako ay hindi pa rin maka paniwala. I made it— ATTORNEY NA AKO!
Tumayo naman ako at niyakap si mama at papa habang umiiyak. “Attorney nako! Nakab-ot ragyud nako, ma, pa.” (Attorney na ako! Naabot ko rin, mama, papa.)
My parents hugged me back and papa wiped my tears. “We are so proud of you, our princess.”
Bumitaw naman ako sa yakap at nag group hug kami family, ganon din sa family ni Kade.
At syempre, I hugged my Kade again. “Tapos na ang rivalry natin, pero possible na magkikita tayo sa court ah. Prosecutor gusto mo eh.”
“Talo na ako, mga ngiti mo palang eh. Hulog na hulog na ako.” Hirit nito. I jokingly pushed him. “Hindi naman 'yan ang ibig kong sabihin!”
He chuckled and kissed my forehead. “I know. Are you worried that we might be rivals in fighting a case soon? That we might face each other in one specific case with you defening the accused, and me fighting for the justice of the victim? Mhmm.” He asked facing me.
I slightly nodded. Hindi naman sa takot akong matalo siya, kasi sa loob ng korte. We are not lovers anymore, we are professionals that needs to do our job. Regardless of the result, kung sinong manalo. Nasa kamay namin 'yon kung paano kami lalaban sa korte. Pero ang inaalala ko, paano kung manalo siya o ako? Tas pag-initan ng sino da kliyente namin. Being a lawyer is not a joke, especially if criminal lawyer. Case like murders is not a joke.
“Don't worry, baby. We didn't come this far for nothing.” He assured and hugged me.
Ngumiti naman ako at niyakap siya pabalik.
Lumapit naman si Papa saamin. “Your kuya Austin is already organizing the party that will be happening this evening, kaya mag handa na kayo.” Tumango naman kaming dalawa.
Kinuha ko rin ang phone ko at tinawagan namin si Sol and Jake to congratulate both of them. They also passed, and one of the top. Sol is 4th, while Jake is in the 5th place.
When the night came, lumabas na kami ni Kade para kumain at i-entertain ang mga bisita.
“Drinks, ma'am?” Asked the waiter with a glasses of different alcohol drinks. Of course, this isn't new to me. Umiinom naman ako.
“Yes, I'll get one ha.” Sagot ko at kumuha ng isa.
Lumapit naman ako kay Kade na ngayon ay nakikipag-usap sa ibang batch mates namin, pumasa rin sila, and we invited them here para isa na rin ang celebration ng pagkakapasa naming lahat.
Medyo nahihilo na ako, pero the alcohol taste so good that makes me want more.
“That's enough, princess. Pumasok kana sa kwarto mo, so that you can rest.” Kuya Aries said. I just shook my head.
“I'm good, kuya. A-Ang asikasohin mo dapat ay si ate Heaven. Ihahatid mo pa siya 'di ba? And, I'm already a big girl. A woman! So, I'm good... Hehe...” Sagot ko sa kaniya, hinalikan ko naman ang pisngi niya at nag lakad palayo. He keeps calling me but I just wave at him and walk towards Kade.
“H-How are you, my lovey dovey?” Tanong ko kay Kade habang naka hawak sa leeg niya.
“God! Woman. You are already drunk. Let me bring you to your room, so that you can rest.” I rolled my eyes on his answer. “N-No! I'm not drunk, bebi! I'm so so so fine... Hmpp!!” Pag rereklamo ko.
Hindi na ito sumagot at binuhat ako, hindi na rin ako nag reklamo kasi ewan ba... Para akong walang lakas kapag siya na ang gumagalaw.
Pag dating namin sa kwarto, I locked the room and lay on the bed.
Kade remove my heels, at inayos ako ng higa. “Huwag malikot, mas lalo kang mahihil—” Hindi pa ito tapos mag salita ay hinila ko na siya dahilan para makapatong ito saakin.
I saw how his eyes grew big because of what I did. I chuckled as I planted a smack kiss on his lips.
“No, you're drunk, lalabas na ako.” He said, at akmang tatayo but of course I did not let him.
“I-I want you...” I said like I am pleading. I don't know, hindi naman na bago saamin ang maging malapit ang katawan sa isa't isa dahil nag cu-cuddle naman kami. Pero ngayon, I feel so hot. Sobrang init, pero gusto ko si Kade.
“We can do that soon, hindi ngayon. You are drunk, baby.” Saad nito pero nag matigas pa rin ako.
“I am not drunk, I can still picture us having a hot se—” He closed my mouth using his lips. Pero smack lamang ito, at agad siyang bumitaw.
“Just a kiss. We can't go deeper than that, I don't want us to do something while you are drunk. Mhmm, can we do that soon? But not now, bab—” I didn't let him finish his words, instead, I grabbed his neck tie and kiss his lips passionately.
And knowing Kade, kung ano ang papanindigan niya, he will stand by it. Kaya, sinubukan niya talagang bumitaw sa mga halik ko. I know he is trying his best not to be tempted by my kisses.
“P-Please baby...” I pleaded.
“No, I already repeated it couple of times. You are drunk, baby. I don't want us to do something while you are not in your normal mind.” With what he said, I pushed him.
“A-Ae you saying I'm out of my mind??? Do I have an abnormal mind right now?!!!” Galit na tanong ko.
“N-No... Baby, of course that's not it! I mean... You are drunk baby, I don't want you to regret tomorrow when you wake up what might happen to night if we will continue what you want.” He answered. Pero inirapan ko pa rin siya.
“What I want? D-Don't you want me anymore? May iba—” He stopped me by kissing me torridly, hindi ako nakapalag kaya gumanti ako sa mga halik niyang nakakalunod.
“There's no other girl, baby. You are my only woman. It's not like I don't want it, I have a high respect with you. Naka-inom ka, at ayokong gawin natin 'yon dahil baka mag-sisi ka kinabukasan. I swear, I am already tempted by you. But, I need to act cool because I love you beyond our intimacy, baby.”
