Movie Marathon

At the end of the first movie, Jay and Erin get up to go to the toilet and top up snacks. A few minutes later Jay walks back in with some more snacks and sits down next to me whilst I continue building. "So how's the building coming along kiddo?" I don't realise I'm being spoken too so I continue to build until I hear a laugh. "What's so funny?" Erin stops her laughing with a struggle. "It's just Jay has been trying to talk to you for the last five minutes and got completely aired!" She starts laughing again and I join her as Jay looks at me with a slight offended look. "S- sorry Jay. It's Harry Potter. Nothing comes over Harry Potter." Erin laughs even more whilst I grab a piece of chocolate off the table. Once Erin was able to compose herself again, we started up the second movie. Once it was finished, I had finished my Hogwarts Lego and getting bored again. I see Jay's car keys on the coffee table and pick them up and started playing with them throughout the start of the third movie. Eventually I got bored of them and I started to get extremely fidgety, shuffling along the floor. (don't ask it's what I do all the time😂) I end up standing up and wandering around behind the couch so that I'm not walking in front of the screen distracting the couple on the couch. Yep! A couple! Jay asked her out whilst they were in the kitchen earlier on! I'm so happy for them. I go to my room and grab another one of my Lego sets. This one was a Dobby with an openable Tom Riddles diary and a sock and a cake. I take it back into the living room and begin to build it. By the time I had finished building it we had gotten up to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. More specifically, Sirius' death scene. "NICE ONE JAMES!" "AVADA KADAVRA!" I look down from the screen, tears rolling down my face as they always do. "Amber? Are you okay honey?" I nod my head and let out a small laugh. "It's always this scene! Ugh!" I start laughing small laughs and Erin rubs my shoulder. I check the digital clock about the TV and see it's 8.30pm. It felt so much later than that. Again, I go grab my third and final Lego set off my table. It was another big one. This time it was the hogs head and the three broomsticks together. I spend my time building this one as normal and I completely ignore everything except for the Lego booklet. By the time I had finished half of the set the final movie had finished and it's was nearly midnight. Jay and Erin get up off the couch and I completely ignore them. I don't acknowledge them until Erin pulls me away from the Lego. "HEY! I'm building that!" She carry's me to my new room and sits me on the bed. "You can continue it in the morning you need to sleep. It's the weekend tomorrow so you don't need to wait until after school." Jay peeps around the door frame. "Night Amber." I smile to him and he walks in and hugs Erin. "I knew that you liked each other, you know that. Night." Jay stays quiet for a second until something clicks in him. "That's why you smirked at Erin when you woke up in the hospital isn't it!?" I laugh and climb under the covers. "Night guys." Erin laughs and tucks me in. "Night honey." She pulls Jay out and pulls my door shut. I sit up and pull my book out of my bag that I got off my English teacher and turn the lamp on so I can read. The book was called heartstopper. It's a brilliant book about two boys, Nick and Charlie. They are both secretly in love with each other. I haven't got too far into it yet. I hope they do though. It would be really sweet. What felt like half an hour later, I was being woken up by Erin and I had my book on my chest holding it close to me. "Hm?" I sit up and look at Erin. "You need to get up honey, me and Jay need to head down to the district and we don't want to leave you here on your own." I push my blanket away from me. "Can I bring my Lego so I can build it in the break room?" She nods her head and leaves me to get changed. I pull on some ripped black jeans and I sneak into Erin's room to steal a hoodie. Once I got one I headed downstairs to find Erin and Jay sat at the breakfast bar. "What do you want for breakfast hun?" "I'm okay at the moment Erin. Thanks though." She gives me a stern look whilst I put my Lego into my bag. "What's my rule?" I roll my eyes and walk into the kitchen. "To always try eat every meal. Do you have any cereal bars?" Jay reaches into his pocket and pulls out a squares bar. "There you go kid." I smile at him and take a bite out of it. Erin made her and Jay some coffee, putting them into flasks then handed me my own. "You're letting me have coffee?" She laughs at me. "No hun. You've got a hot chocolate." I smile at her. "Even better. Thank you." We head out to Jays truck and he drives us to the precinct. Whilst the team work on cases and paperwork, I sit in the break room building Lego. At lunch time, Voight walks in with some lunch and a extra bag. "Here's your lunch kid. I ordered you a burger. Why don't you come and sit out here to eat?" I don't acknowledge him as I continue my building. He comes over and taps my shoulder. "Come on we've got lunch." I try to go back to my Lego so he pulls the spinny chair I'm on and pushes me out to the bullpen where everyone is sat laughing. "Dude!?" I slide my way over to Erin's desk and start eating my lunch that Voight had passed me. I was mid conversation with Erin when Voight shouted my name across the bullpen. "Amber!?" I look at Erin scared. "Y-yea?" He sees the fear in my eyes and softens his gaze on me. "I got you a present. Here you go." I reluctantly take it and peep into the bag to see what it was. He's bought me a phone! "I can't accept this Voight. It's got to have been expensive!" He shakes his head. "You will take it because I refuse to take it back. If you try giving it me back I'll give it to Erin for you. And please call me Hank." I put the phone down on the table and go give him a hug. "Thank you Hank."
