I ran through the broken rumblings were falling from the dark skies. People were running and some were shooting at each other.

I quickly went towards a building but found myself in the WCKD building. People running around, all forgetting about me.

"Go there and you there. I want him and I want him now." I heard a voice I am all to familiar.

I looked around the corner to see no other than Janson standing in the middle of the hallway. No guards around him.

"Where do you want me?" I questioned him and his eyes connected with mine.

"Cassiopeia." He said, his voice full of emotions. "You are still alive."

"Of course I am still alive." I said to him taking closer steps towards him until I stood a few feet away from him. "I will never leave you."

A smile formed on his lips.

"You know it was kind of annoying running around with all those boys, always scared to get shot all of the sudden."

I Grimaced at the thought.

"And to let that boy fall for me was worse, but they trust me."

"Why did it take you so long to get here?" Janson questioned me.

"I tried everything, but they mixed up the plan." I said to him. "I couldn't go with Thomas to retrieve Minho, so I am so sorry, dad."

"How come you didn't try to contact me?"

"Yes, and then there is that. I couldn't text you in any way, not like how Teresa did. The walkie talkie she had was broken when that fight broke out."

"Why did you escape your room." Janson said in confusion. "I am sorry we had to lock up, but-"

"I know, as a young adult I know how they think." I interrupted him. "I had to figure out what they were planning, of course."

"That makes so much sense." Janson had the biggest smile on his face and he opened up his arms after setting down a briefcase onto the ground.

I quickly walked into his arms.

"I am so happy that you are here." He told me.

"Me too." I said into his shoulder. "Because now I got the chance to kill you myself."

I plunged the knife into his back. He let go of the hug and looked at me with betrayed eyes.

"Cassie-"

"You taught me how to fight, but something else came with the training. I learned how to deal with my emotions and how to manipulate for the other eye. Did you forget about that?"

I gave him a sweet smile, but we both know there was nothing sweet about it.

Janson fell onto his knees and I squatted down before him.

"Now you know what it feels like to get stabbed into the back by a loved one."

I grabbed the briefcase and opened it up beside my dying father. I saw different blue serums and I knew what it was.

The cure.

Teresa had Thomas's blood and this should have been it. Because his subject name was written at the top of the briefcase.

"Thomas, I know you can hear me."

I heard the voice of Teresa over a speaker.

"I know you will not trust me, but you have to hear me out. There is a reason why Brenda isn't sick anymore and that is because of you."

I quickly got up and walked outside to still see people fighting so I made my way towards a quieter place, still hearing Teresa's voice over the speakers.

"You are the cure we need. Your blood can cure millions of people and Newt."

I stopped in my tracks, my mind racing when I heard his name.

Newt.
