I decided to bring Kate over to the apartment and I had her brother Ethan get to pack her things up from her room and give them to the movers. I made a few decisions about us and I felt that if I want to keep her by my side I need to take steps to put a wedding ring on her finger. Mom and dad found out about Kate and I and they told me that she could help me grow up and we are about the same age maturity wise. I am not sure what they mean by that, it could mean she has the maturity of a nearly thirty year old or I have the maturity of a twenty something year old. They like Kate and she has been Mia's friend since grade school. Melissa is a good friend but she has a life that keeps her busy and rumor has it she lost her parents and are raising her siblings. We went to the funerals but Melissa was being a grown up at 18 and caring for her six siblings. Christian offered her a position at GEH and full benefits along with a van and 24/7 childcare. We have seen her and mom has taken over as her siblings pediatrician and doesn't charge her any money and pays for the tests and the medications if they are needed. I don't know the whole story but there were people arrested and charged with murdering her parents. I went over at everyone's insistence to check out the home they lived in and I had just renovated a home and it was turn key so I moved them in to that home and replaced all their furniture for them. Their parent's home was in need of everything. I am helping with the taxes on the home.

I finally get a call from Kate demanding to know what I have done with her things from her room. I gave her all the information and she said she will be right there to pick up her things.

Kate
I am guided to the apartment at Escala and they knock on the door and I am led inside the apartment and I am looking at some of the most expensive furniture and beautifully put together. I look and there are photos of me and Elliott together. I am being led to a dinner table that has lit candles on it and a lady and a man are waiting for us to approach the table. We are seated and food is being served and a nice wine is being poured. We get to the desert and he pulls the top off and an engagement ring and will you marry me is in white icing on the lava cake. I am stunned but I say yes and he gets on his bad knee and asks me and slides the ring on my finger and of course it fits perfectly. He shows me where my things are and I look at the master bedroom with his and hers everything and find all of my belongings but my furniture in the closet that is mine. Everything was fully unpacked and I looked at the hers bathroom and I was amazed at the size and the fact her recalled my favorite things and colors. Of course now I can't say no to moving in with him. This was far more than I expected from him. Apparently he asked my father for my hand in marriage. He tells me that I will be getting security guards now that I said yes.

Enid
Ethan told me that Kate moved out finally. I asked when he was moving out? He looked like he was hurt that I would even want him to move out. He told me even more about Kate moving out things that I should know about. He told me that Elliott moved her in with him and don't be shocked if there is a wedding soon. I didn't even know she was seeing him seriously. So I talk to Eamon and he divulges that Elliott asked for his blessing to marry Kate. He forgot all about it until now. I think he is getting Alzheimer's or something. Then again he might have kept it from me on purpose.

Eamon
I really didn't forget, I just didn't want Enid to start planning a wedding that Kate wouldn't want but she would give in to her mother's wishes. I wanted them to announce it and enjoy their time in the spotlight. After that the paparazzi gets wind of them dating they will pounce on the story. I just gave Kate a break from her overbearing mother. I finally told her to go easy with the wedding plans. I don't want her bullying Kate into an extravaganza set of events for her only daughter because she is marrying a soon to be billionaire. I was unsure about Elliott's intentions towards Kate when I realized he was interested in her. He asked me to keep it under wraps because of the paparazzi that would hound her if they knew. Because of his hiding their relationship she walked away from him and after a week he decided to move her in with him at an apartment in Escala behind her and our backs. It's a highly guarded building. He now has security driving her and guarding her wherever she goes.

Kate
Mom has already found out about the marriage proposal, she has spies at Kavanagh Media who told her about the gigantic engagement ring I am sporting. Snitches are everywhere and they tell my every move to my mom and dad. I have to quit working for mommy and daddy if I want to be taken seriously as an adult. So I decide to apply for a few jobs including on line jobs. I found out that GEH need3d someone to work as a PR writer and editor. So I send in my resume and know that they don't do nepotism at all. Unless you have the skills you don't get the job no matter who you are related to or friends or even children of friends. I am soon asked to come in for an interview and I got the job.
