Chapter 29: Punk's Last Dance

Vanessa's POV:
I haven't been to Illinois since I was eleven. Being in Chicago made me flashback to all the trips I took with my family. I went to The United Center to see a crowd of people. That made me nervous. As I entered the arena, I saw Cory Crawford, the goalie for the Blackhawks and a few of his team mates. I saw a glum Punk. I look at him and he tells me he's dropping a pipe bomb on the WWE Universe. I'm scared. As the show starts Punk enters the ring and drops a huge pipe bomb. My jaw drops as CM Punk announces his retirement from the WWE. I start to cry! Roman and John pull me in for a hug. As the matches start I look at Punk crying again. I ask Punk for one more dance. The song that accompanies the dance is sad

As the show goes on I ask Punk to tag team with me. The match started with Eve and I but I wasn't alert. As Eve took a strand of my hair and pulled it I could see the match was a mess. I tagged Punk in and he went to work on Zack.
Punk's POV:
Ouch, this match hadn't been what we wanted. I botched up some easy moves I look at the apron and I saw Vanessa thinking about something. I tag her in and watch the divas.
Vanessa's POV:
I feel hyped and i'm starting to fight back. Eve has no idea what's coming next. I think to myself. I ready myself for a move that I saw on the WWE Network (for $9.99) I launch myself for the Swanton Bomb and I nailed it as I covered Eve, Mike hits the matt counting one two three the match is over and Punk and I won! The WWE Universe chants CM Punk! I soak it in unable to stop the tears that were streaming down my face I grab a microphone and drop a heart felt pipe bomb on CM Punk. Punk, you're a great superstar the longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern eara straight edge. You're all those things you also have me as a friend. I'm going to hold on to the Divas Championship for four hundred thirty-four days! If you can do it why can't I? Punk, i'm going to miss you. Thank you Punk! As I said that the Universe chants Thank you Punk! We leave the ring and I embrace Punk still crying. He wipes my tears and heads into his locker room. I head into the Divas locker room bawling. Eve, Eva, Rosa, Alicia, Paige, AJ Nikki, Brie and Cameron group hug me. AJ looks at me and we talk. Sometimes talking things out will make a person feel better. After Punk leaves his locker room, I see him in Cubs gear. I look at him and we leave the arena.
