Chapter 58: Crazy Week

Vanessa's POV:
The next week was a huge struggle. I had media interviews and a huge red carpet event. The first interview was on a Tampa news show. The anchors were so cool with me and they had me do the weather. Next, was a radio interview. The crew was chill and Jeff called in. I had time to kill before the event so I group messaged Barbie and Sheldon.
Group Message:
Barbie Sheldon, what's up?
Hey Vanessa, getting ready for an away game for the Ducks.

Tampa! We're playing the Lightning.

As Jeff ends the song, I ask him if we could walk the red carpet together. I don't get an answer and that makes me worried. I'm about to leave when the door opens and I see a limo. I enter it but it turns into a party bus. I looked confused as I see my Total Divas co-stars. Nikki explains that Adam Rose is behind all this. I sit down next to Zack and we have a Bud Light Lime.
Zack's POV:
I look at Vanessa and we talk. The Divas Champion is thinking about Jeff she gets a text message from him.
Text Conversation:
Jeff, are you okay?
Vanessa, i'm not okay.
What's wrong?
I wrote a new song but it's a duet.
Aw! We'll sing it when I get back from this charity event WWE is hosting.
It seems that you're always doing stuff for work and it's good.

Vanessa's POV:
As the bus pulls into the parking garage, Nikki, Brie, Cameron, Naomi, Nattie, Eva, Jojo, Summer, Rosa, Paige and I get off and link arms to the superstar we're walking the red carpet with. I link my arm with Dean and my heart starts to race. We walk the red carpet as a group and the photographers are taking our pictures. As the Superstars for Hope event kicks off, I sneak outside to text Barbie.

Hey Barbie, are you and Sheldon still in town?
Hey Vanessa, yeah we're still here.
I'm at a charity event for work and Dean and I walked the red carpet. I think the media knows that we have wedding coming up next year! Idk how to handle all this.

I go inside the hotel and breathe deep. John, Zack, Dean, Seth and Roman all look at me worried. I'm about to leave when Here Comes the Bride starts playing. I freak out and notice a rack of wedding dresses coming out. The room looks at all the engaged couples that work for the WWE. I look at the Mermaid Dresses. Dean set this up for Wedding Season. I smile and find a dress that fits me like a glove. An hour later, I hear a six string I look and see Jeff on stage. He sings.
