Chapter 23: A Platonic Date

Vanessa's POV:
Orlando, Florida home of the WWE Performance Center. I look for a quiet place to think and I go to the gym. I noticed some NXT and WWE talent talking about Money in the Bank. I'm freaking out and I call Randy. After we hang up, I see Tyler Breeze taking a selfie and. I walk up to him. We talk and take selfies. Something tells me Tyler has a lot to learn I think to myself. As I leave the gym, Becky enters. I go to the hotel the WWE roster is staying at and I check in.
Randy's POV:
I'm pacing the floor thinking about Alanna. Being away from her stinks. A series of knocks takes me out of my thoughts. As I open the door, Vanessa enters the room. Looking at the room she sets her stuff on the extra bed and we look at each other not knowing what to do.
Vanessa's POV:
This is weird. I look at Randy confused and silent. I unpack my duffel and push it to my side of the room. I sit on the window looking out to the view. Randy paces the floor nervous about something. I take a deep breath and approach the third generation superstar. We talk about WWE and Payback. I pull out my favorite two tone dress and I hang it up. Why is Randy so silent? I think to myself.
The silence gets broken by the door of the hotel room closing. I'm confused. I sit on the bench near the window and i'm holding onto the divas championship. I hear a knock on the door and I see John and he hands me a note. I open the note and it reads
I hope you enjoy the candy that's on the back of the note it's sour then sweet just like you. Sour then sweet that could only be one candy. I look at the back of Randy's note and sure enough I see Sour Patch Kids. I pop one in my mouth and I get my sour face. Once the candy gets sweet I chew it. John leaves and tags Punk. I open the door for my fellow Cubs fan he gives me another note. Look in the closet for something pink it'll put a huge smile on your face. Something pink inside the closet. I look in the closet for the pink item. It's a pink shirt that has another note attached.
I go to the lobby.
I look at Randy who asks me to go on a
Disney World adventure with him. Dean gives me the okay and I say yes. I'm getting ready to go when Eva Marie knocks on the door.
Eva's POV:
Vanessa opens the door and I enter the room. I look at the rookie diva and i'm thinking wow Vanessa is a huge Disney fan. I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Dean. I look at the window and I start to think about Frozen and Let It Go. It plays on the radio
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight

Vanessa's POV:
I'm in the lobby waiting for Randy. I start to think about my favorite Disney movie, The Little Mermaid and I start to sing.
Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has ev'rything?
Look at this trove
Treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Lookin' around here you'd think

I've got gadgets and gizmos aplenty

As a crowd of people applaud me Randy enters the lobby with his renal car keys. I smile and enter the car. As i'm in the passenger seat I start to think of Disney songs from other movies. As we enter the park, I start to feel joyful.
