Vanessa's POV:

I'm waiting for Jeff at the Performance Center. I'm thinking about Matt so I text him.

Text Conversation:

Hey Matt, how are you?

Hey Vanessa, i'm doing okay. Where are you?

The Performance Center waiting for your brother. He's late!

Oh man! That sucks. I'm in Los Angles at Staples Center. I wish you were here! Raw and Smackdown aren't the same without you and my brother. Team Extreme isn't the same with only me.

Matt, Jeff and I will be back in a week. I heard you're in the running for a title! :)

Nope! Triple H and Stephanie won't even watch my matches they say I lost my spark for the WWE! It sucks! I miss you and Jeff! It's not worth it if you guys aren't here!  I want out!

Matt, I don't want you to quit! :o I'm hopping on the jet to LA!

What about Jeff?

I'll see if he wants to come! If you see a couple of  cool faces you'll win your match!

I send my last message and sit on the squat rack waiting for Jeff.

Tanner's POV:

I enter the Performance Center and go to the bench. I start to put the weight on the barbell and I see another pair of hands helping me set the weight. I thank Vanessa and I ask her to spot me.

Vanessa's POV:

I help Tanner with his bench press and we swap. Tanner tells me to push. I push but I drop the barbell on my chest. I wince in pain and Tanner takes me to the trainers. The doctor looks at my chest and she says that it's bruised. I ask if I can go into the ring and perform. Worried I look at Tanner he looks at me with hope. Amber, the doctor tells me i'm good to perform. I get off the table and leave the room with Tanner. I'm in the locker room when my phone vibrates. I'm so mad at Jeff for missing our work out. I thank Tanner for being my spotter and I leave the Performance Center and I hop on my bus. I arrive home and Jeff is in the kitchen cooking a four course dinner with a guest. We eat the first course and Jeff explains that he'll be on time for our work outs. I look at him and we eat the three courses.

Jeff's POV:

After our meal, Vanessa and I head to the studio. We sit in the studio waiting for a song to cover. As the producer leaves the booth, I get an idea that requires a female voice. I pull Vanessa  into the booth and we sing.

Now Listen
Not a dime, I can't pay my rent
I can barely make it through the week
Saturday night I'd like to make my girl
But right now I can't make ends meet

I'm always workin' slavin' every day
Gotta get a break from that same Ol' same Ol'
I need a chance just to get away
If you could hear me think this is what I'd say

Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this

They say I spend my money on Jeff and wine
I couldn't tell you where I spent last night
I'm really sorry about the shape I'm in
I just like my fun every now and then

I'm always workin' slavin' every day
Gotta get away from that same old same old
I need a chance just to get away
If you could hear me think this is what I'd say

Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this

You see I raise a toast to all of us
Who are breakin' our backs every day

If wantin' the good life is such a crime
Lord, then put us away
Here's to ya

Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this

Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this

Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this

After I leave the booth Vanessa stays behind to work on a song.

I get up, and nothin' gets me down
You got it tough, I've seen the toughest around
And I know, baby, just how you feel
You got to roll with the punches and get to what's real

Ah, can't you see me standin' here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Ah, can't you see what I mean?

Ah
Might as well jump
Might as well jump
Go ahead an' jump
Go ahead and jump

Hey you
Who said that?
Baby, how you been?
You say you don't know
You won't know until you begin

So can't ya see me standing here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Ah, can't you see what I mean?

Ah
Might as well jump
Go ahead and jump
Might as well jump
Go ahead and jump
Jump

Might as well jump
Go ahead and jump
Get it in, jump
Go ahead and jump

Jump
Jump
Jump
Jump

I get into the booth next to Vanessa and we sing one more song

Once upon a time not so long ago
Tommy used to work on the docks, union's been on strike
He's down on his luck, it's tough, so tough
Gina works the diner all day working for her man
She brings home her pay, for love, for love

She says, we've got to hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot

Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer

Tommy's got his six-string in hock
Now he's holding in what he used to make it talk
So tough, it's tough
Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night, Tommy whispers
Baby, it's okay, someday

We've got to hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot

Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Livin' on a prayer

Oh, we've got to hold on, ready or not
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got
Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer

Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer

Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
