Two weeks later,

Hyunjin and Min-Joon had been hanging out with each other all the time. There were five more friends in the group. They all sat together at lunch and walked to their classes together. Hyunjin had forgotten about trying to make up with his brother and old friends. What was the point? They all hated him. He might as well let them live in peace.

Felix wouldn't stop messaging him. Felix tried talking to him in the halls, after school, and sometimes in art class. But Hyunjin was stubborn. He didn't need that ray of sunshine worrying about him. He didn't need to ruin his life just like he did with his parents, with his brother, with his best friend.

Bang Chan had tried spending his lunch with Hyunjin, but Hyunjin just told him to try and focus on getting close with Seungmin. Hyunjin couldn't believe it, Chan had yet to ask Seungmin out!

Chan was grateful though, he was slowly building his way up to the courage to ask Seungmin out.

IN and Changbin just enjoyed watching Seungmin flirt with Chan and making him flustered. Of course they would tease Seungmin about it all day, but Seungmin didn't care. Seungmin reeked of self-confidence. Both IN and Changbin could see in Chan's eyes how that confidence attracted him. IN felt bad for a moment, Chan barely belived in himself, but Binnie laughed and said, "Don't worry Jeongin! Seungmin can share his confidence with Chan. Let's just hope Chan shares some of his thoughtful personality as well."

Felix tried and hung out with IN and Binnie at school, but without Han, he started feeling isolated. Even Hyunjin was ignoring him now. Lee Know wasn't as fun of a brother anymore, or easy to talk to. Felix watched Hyunjin sitting with the most secluded group in school. Hyunjin looked worn out and was always quiet. What was the point of being in a group of friends where you couldn't talk or be yourself?

Felix tried to understand.

The more quiet and mischievous Lee Know seemed at school, the more comfortable and lively he felt with Han. The homework was just an excuse to hang out with his brother's best friend more at this point.

Han also enjoyed his time with Lee Know. Lee Know acted cold and reserved, but he was actually a very good listener, and always knew how to comfort Han. Han could see where Felix got that part of his personality from. Lee Know's smile made him look so innocent and younger than he actually is. Somehow Lee Know's eyes were always sparkling. How many adjectives and metaphors have been used to describe beautiful deep eyes before? Like the sky? Ocean? Stars? Galaxy? None of those words could describe his eyes. Lee Know's eyes were a noun in themselves. His Lee Know-eyes sparkled more as he smiled. Han was almost thankful to get into that car accident. Of course it was unfortunate that his father was the one driving the car.

But what hurt Han more was that Hyunjin didn't even try reaching out or asking if Han was okay. Lee Know told him that Hyunjin had simply walked away.

Of course that was a lie, but Han trusted Lee Know.

Just like Hyunjin had started trusting Min-Joon.

The bell rang, it was lunch time again. IN, Changbin and Seungmin were already seated at their tables. Felix was standing close awkwardly. He had to confront Hyunjin today. He wasn't sure how because of Lee Know, but Lee Know said he's be late to lunch. Something about submitting Han's assignments to their respective teachers. Hyunjin wasn't here yet, and Felix was getting impatient.

Seungmin was first to arrive, Chan following close behind. Changbin pulled Chan by his collar, making Chan bend down to listen to the shorter one. Changbin whispered-shouted, "Are you going to ask the creep out yet or not?!" Chan smiled nervously trying to get out of Changbin's hold, only to turn around and be met with IN's wide eyes and neutral expression.

IN said in a monotone voice, "Ask him out or I will." Chan laughed at the joke, until he realized IN was being serious. His laughter died down and he stood there shocked.

IN smirked and sat next to Seungmin. Changbin stood up whispering again, "Get some confidence and ask him out you five year old baby, or a different baby bread will."

Chan swallowed and sat on the chair to the left of Seungmin, staring at IN to figure out if this was a joke or not. IN was smiling as he talked to Seungmin. It was all fine until IN held Seungmin's hand.

Chan immediately spun Seungmin around, looked him dead in the eyes and asked seriously, "Go out with me?" Seungmin gasped. IN and Changbin pretended to give a surprised background music.

Seungmin smiled and said, "Took you long enough." Chan smiled and blushed. IN and Changbin cheered as Seungmin agreed, but Felix's attention was somewhere else.

Hyunjin finally walked in in the lunch hall with his group of friends. All of them were laughing and chatting, except for Hyunjin who was silent but smiling.

Felix sighed and ran up to their table. Before Hyunjin could sit down, Felix tapped on his shoulder. Hyunjin flinched and almost fell forward. "Aah! Yongbok!" Hyunjin screeched. As soon as he said it, he regretted it. Hyunjin knew Felix hated that name.

Hyunjin frowned seeing the hurt expression on Felix's face when someone in his friend group said, "For real? That's his name? No wonder you prefer Felix. Right, Yongbok?" Hyunjin sneered as they laughed and Felix shrunk. Felix only had one insecurity... Hyunjin just had to mess up as always.

Hyunjin turned around with a glare and said firmly, "Shut up." They raised a brow at him mockingly and one of them said, "Why? You don't even like this little Yongbok." Felix scowled, "Like you'd know. I bet you are always too busy talking with a mirror anyways."

They blinked, Min-Joon said, "Let's please not fight, you know how much I hate that." The five boys in the group visibly deflated. Hyunjin turned around and looked at Felix with a cold expression, crossing his arms against his chest.

Felix pulled Hyunjin to a side while the taller just rolled his eyes. "What do you want Felix?" Hyunjin asked annoyed. He was annoyed at himself for saying Felix's nickname but he wasn't going to let Felix know about that.

Felix said, "Stop ignoring me." Hyunjin scoffed, "Stop following me."

"Han misses you."

"What do you care?"

"He's my best friend!"

"And...?" Hyunjin said confused... Ignoring the small pang of hurt he felt when he realised that Felix wanted to be his friend to help Han, not because he genuinely wanted to be Hyunjin's friend. It didn't matter though, Hyunjin was a burden anyways.

"I want to help him! And if you're too stupid and scared to reach out to him, and you think this group of misfits is where you wanna be, go ahead!" Felix shouted.

Hyunjin frowned. His chest felt tight. Before Hyunjin could say anything else, Felix was pulled back, and Hyunjin's eyes met Lee Know's glare.
