Chapter 27

Changbin cut in and said, "Does it matter? He's the eldest, he decides everything."

(A/N: Age order, eldest to youngest, Chan, Lee Know, Hyunjin, Seungmin, Han, Felix, Changbin, IN.)

Chan said, "What do you mean?" Him and Seungmin looked at the four maknae confused.

IN scoffed, "Whatever happened in the Hwang family was their business. And even if Han came to stay with the Lee family for safety, it wasn't our problem. But no, Lee Know Hyung forbid us to even try and talk to Hyunjin."

Changbin said, "We had to leave him alone, ignore the fact that he was suffering, and pretend that everything was ok."

Lee Know looked away and Han said, "It's not his fault." IN went to say something but Han cut him off saying, "My father had threatened us to stay away from Hyunjin. Lee Know was protecting you. Has always been. You should be grateful."

Chan looked alarmed, "I feel like I'm missing a lot of information here." Seungmin said, "I don't even know Hyunjin, imagine me right now."

Felix didn't say anything. He just watched, he watched them talk. Han talking about the threats, and Lee Know talking about how they were free to meet Hyunjin again. Jeongin was crying while Changbin comforted him. Chan was making sure everyone stayed calm. Seungmin just felt awkward.

Felix stepped backwards, his back hitting the wall. The same words ringing in his ears that Han had uttered moments ago.

"Dad said, stay away from Hyunjin if you want Felix to be safe."

Felix's eyes watered and his ears rung. He suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous. It was all his fault. As everyone sorted out their conversation, Felix picked up another thing that Lee Know said, "I am going to invite Hyunjin here today."

Felix sobbed. He hadn't felt this miserable in so long. He realised that Lee Know had been talking to him and holding him the whole time.

Felix pushed Lee Know away and ran out of the door. He ignored all the calls and shouts from inside and how they tried to catch up with him.

Felix ran. He ran and ran as far as his legs could take him. He had no idea where he was going, he just needed to hide. He wanted to hide.

Felix fell. He felt his knees scrap from the ripped jeans and felt mud on his hands, face and clothes. He felt the trickle of rain. Oh right, it was cold too. Rainy season.

Felix sniffed and let out pained sobs. Hyunjin had hurt all this time, because of him. Felix let out a loud scream. His sunflower had been locked away from the light, because of him.

The light droplets of water increased. Felix wanted to pass out, but the floor was too muddy. The grass looked like it was suffering even though it was green.

There was a lady bug crawling through the grass that Felix watched move. Water dripped from his blond hair and he felt cold. It wasn't pouring yet but Felix didn't have it in him to move.

He closed his eyes feeling the rain. Until it stopped. Felix's eyes fluttered open, as he heard rain but couldn't feel it. Beside him stood Hyunjin with an umbrella.

Felix blinked. "I'm hallucinating. I've finally lost it." he thought trying not to break into sobs again.

Hyunjin crouched next to him with a smile and whispered, "Don't worry sunshine, I'm very real." Felix blinked again, not realising he said that out loud. Hyunjin took out a white handkerchief out of his pocket and wiped of the dirt from Felix's face. Felix let out a sob.

Hyunjin gave him a soft smile and wiped his tears away. "You'll get sick here. Come on." Hyunjin took Felix's hand and helped him stand up. Felix's knees buckled immediately but Hyunjin caught him. Hyunjin put a jacket aroung the shivering form of Felix, and pulled him close. Only then Felix realized, he had ended up at Hyunjin's massive gardens surrounding his home.

Felix hadn't even known that he knew his way here.

Hyunjin took Felix inside, gave him Han's spare clothes Hyunjin still had. Thankfully they fit Felix. Felix still felt in a daze. Listening to bits and pieces of what Hyunjin was talking about.

Hyunjin's dad wasn't home. Hyunjin's clothes were too long for Felix to fit in. Hyunjin was going to make him hot chocolate somehow. The rain was peaceful to listen to. And Felix had small hands.

Felix looked at his hands in confusion, "What do you mean my hands are tiny?" Hyunjin chuckled and said, "I'm worried the hot chocolate mug won't fit in your grip."

Felix scoffed, "No such thing." Hyunjin smiled giving Felix the mug, which was indeed big. Hyunjin sat next to Felix on the couch and held the mug in his hands, helping Felix drink the hot chocolate. Felix smiled to himself. Hyunjin saw the smile and smiled as well.

Meanwhile,

Everyone was freaking out. Felix ran out crying and it had started raining. He had sprinted so fast that even Lee Know couldn't catch him.

Han had made a mental note to tease Lee Know about that once the situation became non-serious.

So far, neither Felix nor Hyunjin were picking up their phones.
