Chapter 35

Hyunjin turned around, flipping his hair away from his face and rung the emergency button.

Both of them sighed and tried to catch their breaths.

Hyunjin felt like he has high, not that he'd ever been high before, but he felt floaty. Was it solely because of the effect Felix had on him, or also because of the exhausting day potentially leaving him dizzy, he didn't know. But he liked it. He wanted nothing more than to pleasure Felix and hear his moans. Hyunjin bit his lip. His imagination just had to run wild while they were in an elevator.

Hyunjin was snapped out of his trance when he realised that Felix had called Lee Know and Han on his phone. "Clever" thought Hyunjin after deciding not to call himself dumb.

Both of them sat on the floor of the elevator. Everything was fine until Hyunjin heard Felix's scared whisper, "Hyunie?"

Hyunjin hooked an arm around Felix's shoulder and pulled him close, "Yes?"

Felix took a deep breath, "Why do I hear creaking?"

Hyunjin's eyebrows furrowed as he tried to hear the sure, slowly but surely, he could hear a creaking sound too. Hyunjin gulped and pulled Felix closer, keeping Felix's ear on his chest and said in a soothing voice, "Just listen to my heartbeat. They are coming here to get us, we're going to be ok."

Felix hummed and cuddled closer into Hyunjin, listening to the steady thrum of his heartbeat and trying not to panic. Hyunjin thought a little and said, "You know, I like puppies."

Felix just nodded, "Yeah?"

"I think I want one."

"Really?"

"Yup, a chihuahua."

"Get a golden retriever." Felix said with a small smile.

Relieved to see Felix more relaxed, Hyunjin continued the conversation, "Why?"

"They're soft."

"Like you?"

"I'm not a dog." Felix said shaking his head, "You might be one though."

Hyunjin gasped dramatically and Felix laughed shaking his head. Hyunjin opened his mouth to say something until they felt the elevator jolt and something snap.

All playfulness gone, Felix gripped onto Hyunjin for dear life. Felix said, "Those firefighters better come soon."

Hyunjin nodded. His mind was running wild. For once je wasn't scared about his safety at all. His mind was on Felix. How would he protect him?

Hyunjin looked at their shopping bags. He got up and looked through them getting out his phone which he hadn't used all day, and a water bottle they had.

Hyunjin handed Felix the water bottle and texted Lee Know.

Jinnie

Where are you guys?

Minhoe

We are outside. They found the elevator, dw, we are gonna get you two out of there

Jinnie

Thank goodness, Felix looks scared... It's driving me crazy

Minhoe

Dw, just tell him to breathe

Also, what's up with my name?

Hyunjin kept his phone in his pocket and looked at Felix. Felix had drank half of the water from the bottle. Hyunjin said, "They know where we are, they're gonna get us out, I just talked to your brother."

Felix's body visibly relaxed and he nodded. Felix said, "Sorry." Hyunjin's eyes softened and he pulled Felix close, "Don't be, it's ok to be scared... you taught me that."

Felix smiled and cuddled into Hyunjin, hiding his face in the crook of Hyunjin's neck. Hyunjin wrapped his arms securely around Felix and let him breathe.

Meanwhile,

Han and as doing his best not to cry. His 'long lost' brother and his best friend were stuck in there. Han would have much preferred if it was that ugly lady who said that parrot green won't suit him to be stuck instead. He wouldn't have even bothered.

Han huffed with a pout and crossed his arms. Lee Know stood behind him and stroked his arms up and down, "It's going to be ok."

Han shuddered hearing Lee Know's steady and low voice so close. Han nodded, watching how they were opening the elevator doors.

Meanwhile also,

Felix was still cuddled up to Hyunjin, hiding his face in the crook of his neck. Felix let out a tiny sneeze when he breathed in some make-up powder. Felix frowned, "Who does make-up on their neck?"

Hyunjin froze and stuttered, "Oh erm, its a long story."

Felix said, "What do you mean?"

"I was going to tell you when we get home." Hyunjin mumbled. It made Felix more concerned. Felix sat up a little and tilted his head. Hyunjin had no idea how to start this conversation now. He didn't think Felix would confront him about it.

Felix hooked his finger under Hyunjin's chin, making him look into his eyes. Hyunjin bit his lip and Felix's eyes flashed with realisation.

Felix gulped and said, "When we get out of here, there will be paramedics outside... If you clean it, you can get it looked at without too many questions."

Hyunjin blinked in surprise... He hadn't thought Felix would just be able to... know. Hyunjin nodded hesitantly and Felix looked through the shopping bags and took out some napkins, getting them a little wet using the water in the water bottle. Felix gently took off the makeup from Hyunjin's neck, trying to hold back his tears as he saw the long red mark on his neck.

Hyunjin hissed a little and Felix asked, "What did this?" Hyunjin hesitated for a moment, wishing the elevator doors opened.

His wish came true. The elevator moved for a moment, they weren't sure if it moved upwards or downwards, but it moved. The elevator suddenly jolted, making Felix let out a scream.

Hyunjin held onto Felix, watching the elevator doors open, only for it to be a small opening at the top of the door. They could fit through, but it was still difficult.

Felix was really regretting watching movies so much.

The firefighters had let down a rope, and Hyunjin had picked up Felix so Felix could crawl through first. Hyunjin wanted Felix out of there as soon as possible.

Felix's movement had caused the elevator to stumble. Apparently someone had tampered with the elevator. As soon as Felix got out, Lee Know and Han had him.

Han let out a choked cry when the elevator stumbled again, leaving barely any space for Hyunjin to get through.
