Flowers, Hyunjin and Felix, blooming under the sun, their love. Who knew about the dark clouds, yet to come, like a dead dove.

After dancing peacefully for a while, Hyunjin and Felix went outside for a walk, since the party had become boring.

Hyunjin smiled and held onto Felix's hand. Felix's ears turned red and he said, "You are much more romantic and dramatic than I thought."

Hyunjin laughed and nodded. Both of them walked their way to Hyunjin's mansion, which was closer to the party venue. Talking with each other softly as if their words might touch each other and they needed to be careful.

Both of them reached the mansion after a while, Felix walking in towards the kitchen, and Hyunjin picking up the mail from outside the door.

Felix had already prepared the ingredients in the afternoon, before going home to get ready for the party, to make brownies. He wanted to give them as a treat for Hyunjin and a mini date. After keeping the brownies in the oven, Felix walked to the living room to join Hyunjin.

Hyunjin was sitting in a chair with a gloomy and somewhat tense expression. His shoulders were tense and his eyes looked dull. "Hyunjin?" Felix asked in a concerned tone.

When Hyunjin didn't move, Felix waved a hand in front of his face. Hyunjin startled and looked at Felix, his eyes glassy.

Felix pulled a chair next to him and asked sitting down, "What's wrong Hyunie?"

Hyunjin cleared his throat and mumbled something inaudible. "What?" Felix asked again, squinting.

Hyunjin spoke up a little, "I got accepted to the University in America... not the... one in Australia."

Felix's heart sunk. He looked at the pile of mail on the table. Felix looked back at Hyunjin trying not to frown.

Silence.

Felix pursed his lips and said, "We'll talk about how we'll stay in touch ok? I'm not- I don't wanna break up so we're gonna make this work."

Hyunjin nodded.

Felix said, "Brownies?"

Hyunjin smiled, "Of course baby."

Both of them got up and walked to the kitchen, waiting for the brownies to get ready.

It would be ok. Long distance relationships exist right?

A couple weeks later,

Hyunjin and Felix had been spending as much time together as possible. If they weren't going to different countries, Felix would have moved in with Hyunjin by now, seeing as they're always together.

Hyunjin had become extra clingy to Felix, following him around most of the time. It wasn't annoying, because Hyunjin usually acted like he wasn't there at all.

It was just a little creepy.

For now, Felix and Lee Know were peacefully playing chess. Wanting to spend time together before they part ways.

Lee Know said, "It feels like all of us are going to different parts of the world."

Felix said, "Aren't we?"

Lee Know shook his head, "We aren't that many."

Felix smiled, "World domination."

Lee Know laughed. After a while, when Felix said 'check', Lee Know said, "Are you ok?'

Felix blinked, "I'm not showing mercy to your king or the queen." Lee Know chuckled, "Not what I meant."

Felix tilted his head, "Then what?"

Lee Know looked at his younger brother, "You and Hyunjin moving to different countries."

Felix groaned, "It's not like we are breaking up." Lee Know nodded, "So you are ok with it?"

"Of course not." Hyunjin said making Felix startle, and Lee Know let out a scream. Lee Know said, "How long have you been sitting behind me?"

Hyunjin shrugged, "Since the game started." Lee Know let out a breath.
Hyunjin said, "We aren't ok with it, but we need to be... I don't want to lose Felix because of some jerk."

Felix raised a brow, "'Some jerk'?" Hyunjin blinked and said, "I mean the universities and stuff." Felix nodded.

Felix looked at his watch and sighed, "It's time for you to gather your stuff Hyunie. Your flight is gonna be at nighttime."

Hyunjin frowned. Hyunjin stood up and moved a chess piece for Felix saying, "Checkmate."

Lee Know groaned while Felix started laughing. Hyunjin smiled looking at Felix laughing.

"Better soak it in properly Hyunjin... You might not get to see this laughter ever again." Hyunjin thought.

Hyunjin tossed his suitcases in the car trunk and got into the driver's seat. Hyunjin smiled at Felix who gave Hyunjin a kiss despite them already having hugged each other over and over again.... And that makeout session Lee Know accidentally walked in on.

Felix mumbled, his eyes watering, "Don't forget me."

"I could never." Hyunjin replied. Hyunjin was wearing sunglasses so Felix couldn't see if he was crying as well or not. It was evening so Felix knew Hyunjin was probably crying too.

Felix sighed and took a step back, waving at Hyunjin saying goodbye. Hyunjin gave Felix a strained smile and drove away.

Felix walked inside and broke down crying. He already missed Hyunjin. Felix walked to Hyunjin's bedroom and started cleaning up the mess that Hyunjin had clearly stated that the maids could do.

Usually, cleaning made Felix feel better.

Felix folded away the extra clothes, made the bed, wiped down the windows, and even cleaned the drawers and wardrobe. He didn't want to leave Hyunjin's room.

Felix broomed the floor from every nook and corner, took out extra paper and trash from under the bed.

Felix paused looking at Hyunjin's acceptance letter to the American University Hyunjin had applied for. Well, it was a copy of it anyways.
Felix's eyes teared up and he looked at the other papers he found from under the bed. The letter from the Australian University Hyunjin had applied for.

Felix froze. Something was wrong. Felix read through the Australian University's letter that Hyunjin had gotten... It said nothing about them declining Hyunjin....

Felix dropped everything he was holding... Felix thought, "Hyunjin got accepted to the University in Australia and yet he chose to go to America...?"

Felix stumbled backwards, hitting a mirror that fell and shattered on the floor. Lee Know's voice came from downstairs, "Are you ok Yongbok?"

Felix didn't answer. Felix didn't move.

"Does Hyunjin not want me anymore?"
