Chapter 29

Hyunjin tried, he really did, he didn't want to ruin the mood, but here he was... thinking, "I wouldn't want me too."

Felix frowned seeing Hyunjin still on the floor. The movie was almost at it's end. Felix bit his lower lip before gathering his courage and asking, "Hyunie?" Hyunjin looked up at Felix, all stress lines from his face gone, and smiled.

Hyunjin said, "Hyung, baby, Hyung. I'm older than you." Felix scoffed and pulled Hyunjin up on the couch.

Hyunjin kept looking at Felix. Felix looked into Hyunjin's eyes. Both of them stared at each other and Felix blushed at the way Hyunjin was looking at him. Hyunjin looked so relaxed and his gaze was soft. He had a tiny smile on his face as he looked into Felix's eyes with adoration. Hyunjin said, "Lixie."

Felix hummed in response. Hyunjin said, "I had a dream last night." Felix snickered and said in mock excitement, "Really? That's so weird? Never happened to me before... What was it like?"

Hyunjin smiled as his eyes hid, he let out a quiet laugh. he said, "It was magical. There were these deep eyes of someone... The eyes filled with stories... Yeah, it was like the eyes seemed to have a story."

Felix smiled, "That's cute." Hyunjin smiled again, "Don't flatter yourself."

Felix blinked as his smile disappeared and he said, "What?" Hyunjin said, "I wrote a song last night, before going to bed. I was thinking of your eyes when I fell asleep and that's what I dreamed of. Looking into your peaceful eyes that tell such a deep and intense story. I wish I could decipher it."

Felix blushed and stuttered, "Oh um... I- I guess... well I mean..." Hyunjin shushed Felix by keeping a finger on his lips and said, "I like you Felix."

Felix's eyes widened and he blushed furiously. Hyunjin continued, "And I have been waiting way too long for this."

Hyunjin's gaze flickered to Felix's lips as Hyunjin's hand snaked to the back of Felix's head. Hyunjin's slender fingers tangled with his hair and tugged his head backwards, exposing a column of Felix's neck.

Felix gasped and Hyunjin looked at his eyes and whispered closed to his neck breathily, "Is this ok?" Felix nodded giving his consent, it was hot.

Hyunjin immediately pushed Felix's head forward and crashed their lips together. Felix let out a small surprised gasp but kissed back. Hyunjin kissed Felix greedily as Felix leaned backwards, getting Hyunjin on top of him. Felix gasped when Hyunjin bit his lower lip and moaned as Hyunjin slipped his tongue into Felix's mouth. Felix and Hyunjin got lost in the feeling as Hyunjin's tongue roamed his mouth. They pulled away when to catch their breath after a moment.

Felix was breathing heavily with half-lidded eyes while Hyunjin whispered, "Finally." Felix gulped and pursed his lips saying, "Lee Know will kill you." Hyunjin smirked, "Only if you become my boyfriend, because I'm pretty sure you aren't telling him we kissed... or should I say, made out?"

Felix blushed more and said, "Shut up."

Hyunjin raised a brow, "I will after you answer me something."

Felix groaned, "What Cotton Ball?"

Hyunjin smirked and said, "Be my boyfriend."

Felix blinked, "That didn't sound like a question."

"It was.." Hyunjin muttered to himself after, "Not that I wanted it to be."

Felix hummed and closed his eyes snuggling into the blankets of the couch. Hyunjin frowned. He was getting restless, a little too restless. Hyunjin stood up, grabbed Felix's hand and pulled him up.

Felix gasped and said, "Uh Hyunjin?" Hyunjin raised a brow and said, "You didn't answer."

Felix quickly said, "I want to listen to that song you recorded."

Hyunjin blinked as his eyebrows knit together. "What song?"

Felix smiled and said, "The one you were working on last night." Hyunjin's eyes widened and he said, "I haven't sung it yet.. just wrote a part of it..."

"Sing it for me then."

"What?"

"I wanna hear you sing."

"I don't know if I can."

"Of course you can, I remember you used to."

"That was a year ago."

"And?"

"I haven't really talked for a year, let alone sing..." Hyunjin whispered and Felix went quiet.

Felix pursed his lips in thought and took hold of Hyunjin's hands and said, "Let's start again then." Hyunjin frowned feeling uneasy. Hyunjin debated saying no until he saw Felix's face, that comforting smile and calming eyes. One word echoed through his mind.

Safe.

Hyunjin nodded and lead Felix upstairs to his room. Felix looked around the huge and surprisingly neat room as he flopped down on the bed. The bed was soft and comfy, and Felix felt like a princess. Hyunjin rummaged though a drawer under the study table at the corner of the room and brought a piece of paper. Hyunjin hesitantly handed it over to Felix mumblin, "It's not complete yet."

Felix smiled as Hyunjin sat down next to him. At first Felix wanted to just avoid the question... Felix didn't know if he wanted to date Hyunjin. And all this time he thought he was straight... the kiss definitely ruined his perspective on that. Felix felt confused. He liked Hyunjin but he wasn't ready to accept it.

But now it was different. Now it was about helping Hyunjin gain is self-confidence back. Hyunjin deserved to be happy. 

Felix looked at the lyrics written in Hyunjin's almost perfect cursive hand-writing. "God there's nothing Hwang Hyunjin does that isn't perfect." Felix thought.

Felix handed the paper to Hyunjin as he stood up nervously. Hyunjin looked Felix straight in the eyes and breathed. (A/N: There's no music but he's singing the tune like Ellie Gouldling's Love Me Like You Do.)

"I wanna hold you close, I wanna take your pain away. I wanna give you a hug, I'll promise I'll stay.

If you don't want me close to you, maybe that's ok. I'll always love you, even if you push me away.

I've been waiting, under the stars, I've been counting all the time. Am I crazy, am I far, am I committing a crime?

The moon is out, the sun is far, maybe I should be too. I'm here, like a scar, just hide me away from you.

Your smile, a toxic light, I can't stay away. I try, I cry, but it won't go away.

Hyunjin's eyes were glassy and he looked like he was going to apologise for something. Felix stood up immediately and pulled Hyunjin in a hug. Felix had thought while Hyunjin sung, Felix would think over the answer, but he didn't need to think, he just had to listen.

"Hyunjinnie, I wanna be your boyfriend."
