All of them had reached the parking lot now. Hyunjin said quietly, "It's really dark.. we're late." Han said, "Late for what? Mama Lee doesn't get mad if we let her know where we are at all times." Hyunjin said, "It's nine already..."

Felix looked at Hyunjin, his smile disappearing seeing Hyunjin's pale face. Lee Know had already gotten in the car. Han looked at both of them and went quiet noting something serious. Lee Know stuck out his head from the window at the driver's seat and said, "You two coming?" Hyunjin fidgeted with his fingers and balanced his weight from one foot to another.

Lee Know suddenly looked concerned too. Felix gently kept a hand on Hyunjin's cheek and said, "Are you ok?" Hyunjin looked down at his feet and whispered, "Where am I going?"

Han looked at Hyunjin confused, "Huh?" Hyunjin looked at Lee Know and said, "Am I supposed to... go home?"

Everyone went silent.

Lee Know gulped. He had told Hyunjin's father to let Hyunjin communicate with them freely in return for Hyunjin staying and Lee Know not telling Hyunjin about his father. That he was in black business. Lee Know was satisfied with the debate, he had won. Hyunjin was free. But was he safe?

No. Hyunjin was still not safe and Lee Know had thought they'd figure something out but he had never thought what it would be like sending Hyunjin home every night, knowing Hyunjin wasn't safe there.

Felix felt his chest hurt and desperately tried to keep his tears back. He didn't want to say good bye. Not after Hyunjin was looking so vulnerable.

Han looked up and said, "Do we have a choice?"

...

No body answered.

Meanwhile

Min Joon breathed in from his cigarette in his car, blowing out the smoke as he eyed Hyunjin from a distance. It was a pity Min Joon couldn't hear what the four boys were talking about, it would've given him more leverage. Min Joon sighed picking up a navy blue folder from the seat on his side, flipping the page to the section titled as 'The Lee brothers'. He stopped at a picture of Felix and wrote below the date of the day and, "Lee Felix and sweet cupcake spotted hanging with Han and Minho in an arcade. They seem to have fixed their problems and reuniting."

Min Joon sighed keeping the folder away, leaning back into his seat, throwing the used cigarette outside carelessly as he watched the four boys get into the car and drive away. Min Joon closed his eyes and smiled, picturing Hyunjin sitting right beside him, singing in his sweet voice as he does every Saturday night. Maybe a quick drive to Hyunjin's mansion wouldn't be too bad after all.

Min Joon opened his eyes and picked up a purple diary next to him. The day Min Joon had mugged Hyunjin in the alleyway, sort of, Min Joon couldn't help but fall in love. Hyunjin was perfect, so pretty looking so helpless and broken.

Min Joon had been clever, he had almost gotten Hyunjin wrapped around his fingers when Felix came into the picture. If it wasn't for Felix or his friends, especially his brother, Min Joon could have been driving home with Hyunjin. Not alone.

Min Joon had done his research. The only person Hyunjin cared about was his brother, but apparently not. Min Joon gritted his teeth. He would make sure that Felix would never get close to Hyunjin.

Hyunjin was his only.

Later,

They dropped Hyunjin off at home a while ago. Hyunjin's dad wasn't home yet so all Hyunjin had to do was fall asleep before that. He tried to fall asleep as fast as possible, but his mind couldn't stop thinking, "Go to sleep if you don't want to get hurt."

And wasn't that just pitiful.

His mind couldn't stop thinking about the one thing he was trying to do. Tomorrow was Friday and Hyunjin couldn't help but want to cry. The weekend was here already.

Meanwhile, Min Joon, even though far away, spied at Hyunjin's room from his own. Min Joon had bought binoculars. Something about being Hyunjin's neighbour and Hyunjin having no clue made him smile. The lights were off in Hyunjin's room so all Min Joon could do was wait.

Min Joon's eyes lit up when he has a white limousine park up in the mansion's garage. Min Joon had observed over time that the white limo belonged to Hyunjin's father. Whenever Hyunjin's father would come late at night, he would go straight to Hyunjin's room. Which meant the light will turn on again and Min Joon would get to see Hyunjin.

Even if Hyunjin was usually get beaten up.

Min Joon was a stalker. That Min Joon knew very well himself. But he could not bear to see his father hurt the boy. All dirty thoughts aside, Min Joon didn't like the thought of Hyunjin crying. Min joon just needed enough evidence to expose his father and get him thrown in jail.

Min Joon frowned with determination when he saw Hyunjin's father use a belt.

Next morning at school,

Hyunjin was quiet as he searched through his locker. Hyunjin's father had never used anything to hurt Hyunjin before, and it scared Hyunjin. It scared him a lot more than he wanted to admit.

"Good morning Jinnie!" Felix said from behind Hyunjin making him yelp and, as always, hit his head on the top of the locker. Hyunjin mentally cursed himself for not keeping his arm above for that.

Felix grimaced, "Oop- You ok?" Hyunjin sighed and gave Felix a smile, "It's normal." Felix said, "No erm... are you ok?" Hyunjin blinked trying to block out last night's memory and flashed another fake smile, "Of course Lixie." Felix smiled, knowing Hyunjin's smile was fake, but not pushing it. Felix said, "You know you can talk to me about anything right? And if you're afraid of what I will say I can stay quiet and just listen. I won't mind."

Hyunjin wanted to tear up. He wanted to break down. But he couldn't. He didn't want to worry his sunshine. And what's worse than being a burden?

Suffering alone.
