Aurora's pov

"Aurora?" A gruff voice called out making me roll my eyes. "Yes Ethan?" I answer.
"Where's my breakfast?". He demanded.
I released an exasperated sigh, turning around and facing Ethan who's seated at the table, glaring daggers at me.

Give me a few minutes and your breakfast will be ready. I said turning to the refrigerator to grab some eggs  to prepare his breakfast, before I could open the refrigerator he yanked my hair in a tight grip causing me to wince out in pain.

"I've had it with you and your attitude if it weren't for father, I would've kicked you out of this pack along time ago". He snarled, tugging harder on my hair.

"What has she done now?" A familiar voice spoke behind Ethan.
Ethan slowly let's go of my hair,  pushing me onto the ground
"I've had it with her. I don't understand why father is so damn persistent on keeping her here at the pack instead of kicking her out. She's not even one of us to begin with". Ethan complained to Amanda.

Amanda seemed composed,
she leaned against the wall listening to Ethan ramble about me.
"You sure do need to keep that attitude of yours in check. You wouldn't want our dear father to hear how you speak of him" she warned.

"You think I care?". He growled, punching the wall.
I had it with that old hag. He thinks he knows what he's doing but he doesn't have a f*cking clue. It's time he gives the pack over to me.

"I doubt he would simply hand over the pack to you knowing how reckless and irresponsible you are".

So you think I'm incompetent? Of leading this pack? Of being alpha?
"Of course you are. Have you seen your behavior lately?"

Listening to their bickering makes me sick. They're constantly at each other's throats, fighting for the alpha title.

Amanda and Ethan are my siblings, well half siblings to be more precise. Amanda's the older one and Ethan's the second and then there's Nicole and I'm the youngest of them all. The child who was born out of rape, the one who everyone loathes including my tyrant of a father.

As the days go by my life here is becoming more and more miserable and torturous. I can no longer bear their beatings and insults, it hurts it really does that it once drove me to ending this pathetic life of mine.

I was so deep in thought that I hadn't  realized I was alone, those two were long gone. Thank moon goddess. I fear being anywhere near my three siblings. They've done many unspeakable things to me which I don't think I'll ever get over.
I have the scars to prove it. The abuse never stops, not even for a second.

I wish my mom was still around, I never actually got the chance of spending enough time with her because she was kept in a cell as a prisoner, away from me by Cassandra.

Michael my father and the alpha of the silver moon pack is nothing but a evil man, he's a monster In fact much worse than a monster. I haven't seen anyone like him before.

My mother, Ava was an omega. She was the most beautiful and kindest person I've ever known. Michael that evil b*stard had raped her and destroyed her life. Few months later my mother had given birth to me, she was just eighteen at that time.

When the pack came to know of this, everyone including Michael's mate Cassandra accused my mother of seducing Michael and conspiring to take her place as Luna.

My poor, fragile mother had no one to turn to. Her own blood turned their backs on her, siding with the alpha and Luna.

When I turned ten Michael ruthlessly and mercilessy murdered my mother infront of me because she attempted to flee the pack with me.
I stood and watched helplessly as he snapped her neck.

I quickly wipe away my tears and get on with preparing breakfast for the entire pack.

As Hanna and I lay the table, the loud boisterous laughter of the pack members came flooding into the room.
My body stiffens as I lay the last tray of food onto the table, hoping no one would notice my presence but not all wishes come true.

"Aurora!" Nicole barked, banging her fist onto the table, acting like a spoilt little brat.

I turned around, rushing toward her.
"Why does this taste like crap?".She growled, spitting out the soup into the napkin.
I'm sorry, I can prepare another one if you'd like. I offered.

She clenched her fist getting up from her seat, her eyes were narrowed into slits. I winced as she threw the bowl of steaming hot soup on me.
"From now onward I don't want you touching my food got it?".

I nodded, standing with my head bowed to the ground ignoring the burning sensation on my skin.

After everyone was done eating, Hannah and I quickly cleared the table.
"Why don't you go get cleaned up? Whilst I do the dishes for you" She offered.

Hannah and I have been friends for quite sometime. Hannah's a few years older than me and she's an orphan. Her parents were killed by Michael.

I smiled. Thanks Hannah you're the best.
She smiled back, squeezing my shoulder. "Now go on and be quick before someone sees you".

I enter my room which is the basement. I've lived in here ever since I was born. I recall those nights were I yearned for my mom, I was as little as three years old back then.

And I also remember how Cassandra would beat me up with a belt just so I would stop crying, she'd sometimes throw me out into the cells so that I'd shut up and do what is asked of me.

I wipe away my tears, thinking of the past isn't something I'd like to dwell upon, especially a painful and torturous one.

The room I sleep in isn't to big, it has a tiny bathroom with a cold shower which I'm grateful for, at least I can have a shower whenever I want too.

I grab an old top which was given to me by Sarah. Sarah's a doctor here at the pack and also a good friend of mine and Hannah's.

I quickly throw the top on and place the dirty one aside. I rush out of my room and sprint up the stairs. I suddenly halt in my tracks when I hear the alpha having an heated conversation with the beta.
