Aurora's pov

"Everyone I'd like you all to meet Aurora!" Hannah announced with a smirk plastered on her face.
I was now confused as to why she would introduce me, an omega and a maid to her high profile friends?

My stomach churned when I saw the way the men in the room stared at me with lust filled gazes.

" Is she human?" One of the men asked as he stared at me curiously.
Hannah smiled. Unfortunately she is
but if you do have a problem I could show you another- It's fine. The man spoke cutting Hannah off.

Her smile widened as she snapped her gaze to her mate.
"Great. you've made an excellent choice"
"Well I hope you're right about that. The man said"

What the hell was going on here? I wondered as I stealthily glanced between Hannah and her guest.
Why were they suddenly interested in me?

Hannah, could we have a word In private? Ryan suddenly spoke rising from his seat.
"Excuse us, we'll be right back" He said as he ushered Hanna out of the  room.

As soon as the two of them left the dinning room, everyone's attention zeroed in on me.
I felt uncomfortable and wanted nothing more than to leave this room.

Aurora? A man called out lifting his empty glass into the air. I mentally sighed and approached the man to refill his glass.
Why the hell couldn't he do it himself
the bottle of wine was right next to him. I'm guessing this how they are treated in their own homes as if they are some sort of royalty.

After I finished refill the man's glass and was about to return back to my spot, the man grabbed my arm stopping me.

How old are you Aurora? The man asked as he stared at me from head to toe.
Eighteen I answered neverously.
Why was he so interested in knowing my age? I don't understand what's going on but whatever it is, it's definitely not good.

Aurora? Another guest called out but this time it was a woman.
I notice the way the woman scowled at the man who just asked me to refill his glass.

She narrowed her eyes at me. Would you mind getting us more? She pointed at the half empty plate of pastries.
I nodded picking up the plate and walking out of the dinning room.

As I was going to enter the kitchen I suddenly halted hearing Hannah and Ryan's loud voices.

"Do you have any idea what my brother would do to us if he only found out what you are planning on doing with his mate?" Ryan half yelled.

"He wants nothing to do with her, he made it pretty clear the night he captured her. Just let's stick to the plan. Once we get rid of Aurora, we'll deal with your brother next"

"And how exactly do you plan on taking him down?" Ryan asked.
Leave that to me, now I want you to go back in there and entertain our guests, these people are very important and they are going to make us extremely rich once one of them buys Aurora!

Fury vibrated through my body as I gripped the bowl harder.
How dare she, how dare she do such a unspeakable thing to me. What does she think I am, a bloody whore like her?

When I heard their footsteps approach I quickly rushed into the store room.
Once they were gone I finally stepped into the kitchen, breathing a sigh of relief.

It was quite late and I couldn't get any sleep, my mind kept wandering back to what I heard Hannah say about selling me off to one of those men.
Fortunately for me those men had no interest in purchasing me because I was the alpha's mate.

They didn't want to mess with the alpha so instead they wanted another shewolf. I still have no idea what these men are planning on doing with the shewolves which they had taken?

Does the alpha even know what's going on in his pack? It's illegal and a serious offense to sell off shewolves to humans. If the alpha king finds out about this, the alpha would probably lose his alpha title and be exiled.

The slight knock on the door broke me from my train of thoughts,
I rose from my make shift bed and approached the door. When I opened the door I didn't see anyone.
That's strange because I did hear someone knock on the door.
I poked my head out and glanced at the hallways. The hallway seemed quite and dark.

When I turned around to step back into my room, I felt a tight grip on my arm.
"Do not make a sound" The gruff voice demanded, placing a cloth onto my mouth.

My eyes widened as I sniffed the chloroform.
Fear pulsed through me, my heart began pounding. I was afraid, afraid of what this person was going to do to me.
I tried struggling to free myself from their hold but after a few minutes I started to fade away.

I woke up in a different room, the room was tiny, next to me was a worn out mattress and opposite of me was a small wash basin. The walls of the room were painted in black, it had no windows and it reeked.

The stench repulsed me and I suddenly felt like throwing up, I rushed to the sink and puked my guts out.

I splashed some water on my face. I feel weak and exhausted. I returned to the mattress, settling down on it and resting my head against the wall.

I suddenly jumped when I heard the sound of the door being opened.
My heart lurched when I saw Ryan grinning wickedly at me.
Panic fueled me. He's the one who brought me here.
Dread twisted in me thinking of what his motive was towards me? Or maybe I do know what it was, he's probably here to end my miserable life.

He slammed the door and locked it. Great now I'm trapped in here with this savage monster.
He kneeled in front of me, I flinched when he touched my cheek.

He snickered. "It's a pity that you're the one who's going to have to pay for Michael's crime, after all you're his daughter. Michael snatched away everything from me and for that you're going to pay for all that he's done to my family and I!"
