Another Sibling

Aurora's pov

I gasped when I felt a hand slide around my waist and as the tingles shot up I stiffened.

"And where do you think you're going little mate?" Roman's husky voice murmured in my ear, pulling me close to his chest causing goosebumps to rise on my skin.

Roman gazed down at me with a smile.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.

I frowned. What's going on with him? Suddenly he's concerned about me and wants to show affection towards me. No, somethings definitely not right.

"I'm fine" I muttered staring anywhere else besides his beautiful blue orbs.

"You remember what happen last night, right?

Last night? I questioned.

You shifted. He replied.

" Oh yes I remember but quite vaguely. What happened after?"

After you shifted back into your human form you fainted.

My eyes widened. He saw me naked.
As if reading my mind a smirk played on his lips.

"You don't need to be embarrassed it's not like I haven't seen you naked before"

What do you mean?

He sighed getting up from the bed. It doesn't matter. He muttered as he walked into the bathroom ignoring my question.

After taking a long hot shower I wrapped myself with a towel and strode towards the closet. My gaze swept over the fancy and expensive clothes Roman had got for me yesterday.
When I first came here I had absolutely nothing to wear except for his oversized shirts and sweatpants.

I somehow feel lucky, maybe Roman isn't as bad as I think he is and maybe he does care about me.

If he didn't care about me he wouldn't have bothered to save me from drowning and he also he wouldn't have been there when I shifted last night.

Perhaps I was wrong about him or maybe he's plotting something?
I let out a long sigh and brush away my negative thoughts just for today.

I was almost about to remove the towel from my body when a knock came on the door.

"Luna, it's me Hailey. Can I come in?"
Just a minute Hailey. I yelled so that she could hear me.

After slipping into the dress which I had chose to wear, I approach the door.
Hailey enters the room with a tray of food in her hand. The automatic smell of the food makes my stomach growl.

" So I heard about your shift last night, how was it?" Hailey asked, the excitement in her voice evident.

I let out a sigh plopping down on the bed and digging into the tray of food.
It was excruciating at the beginning since I shifted for the first time but other than that it was exhilarating.

A frown settles on Hailey's face as she
plopps down on the bed beside me.
I wish I could shift, I've been dying to meet my wolf since I was a little girl. She said with an hint of sadness lacing her tone.

I give her a warm smile and gently squeeze her shoulder.
I'm sure you will meet her, maybe not now but one day you will. I said giving her a assuring smile.

I hope so. She mutters with a half hearted smile.
I better get going, I have so much to do at the pack house. She babbled.

I thought you no longer worked there?

I don't. I'm going to help the other Omega's prepare for the party tonight.

"Party? What party?"

Didn't alpha Roman inform you?

No, he didn't mention anything about a party.
Hearing this a pang of sadness swept through me. Why would he keep this from me? I'm now the luna of this pack and whatever goes on I needed to know but then again who am I kidding?
After all I'm an omega and I'm only here for one reason and that is to keep  Roman's wolf from not weakning.

His sister Emily's arriving today. She's finished with her studies so alpha wants to throw her a welcome party. Hailey explained.

I rose a brow. Wait a minute... Roman has another sibling?

Yeah he does Emily's the youngest and she's a spoilt little brat. Roman adores her and he's also very protective of her.
If I were you I'd stay out of her way, she's a troublemaker. Hailey warned.

Thanks for letting me know Hailey.

You're welcome. I better be on my way or else Mary would have a fit.

I nodded as I watch her leave the room and shut the door behind her.
I sigh dropping the fork onto the plate, my appetite to eat has vanished after hearing the news about Roman's sister.

I didn't realize for how long I've been sleeping as I casually woke up drenched in sweat, the blue sundress were clinging onto my skin as I began to move.

My eyes darted to the other side of the bed, it was empty and still neatly arranged as if no one was ever there and that could only mean one thing Roman is still at the pack house.

I raised myself into a sitting position and tried to reach for the glass of water that's on my bedside table, only to almost fall off the bed as a powerful wave of nausea and dizziness hit me like a speeding bus, making me lose my balance.

I suddenly shot up from the bed as that nausea feeling returned and rushed to the bathroom.

I threw myself on my knees in front of the toilet bowl and cupped it with both arms as I proceeded to empty my stomach contents from earlier on.

Until I was certain I was done I slowly got up to my feet, I pushed myself away from the toilet bowel flushing it away before turning to the sink.

I stood in front of the mirror, a small gasp left my lips as I stared at my reflection.
Eye bags were lining the bottom of my eyes, my skin had turned pale, my hair was disheveled.
With trembling hands I turned on the faucet and splashed some water on my face.

My wolf whimpered as she began pacing back and forth in my mind which got me a little confused because I had no idea what was going on nor would she speak to me.
