She's Mine

Damien's pov

"Did you really have to squeeze my  neck so bloody damn hard?" Brayden groaned, rubbing the back of his neck.
I shrugged. "I had to make it look convincing or otherwise Roman would have caught up."

"I must say you two played your part quite well tonight." Michael grinned as he settled behind his desk.

"Well let's not get our hopes up. We still have lots of work to do and I need Aurora on my side although it's going to be difficult but I will have to try and persuade her into believing me."

"So what's the next plan moving forward? Brayden asked shifting on the couch. Once she believes your lies what are we going to do?"

"I have the perfect plan." Michael chimed.
"And what exactly is your plan?" I asked raising a brow.

"Once Damien here has gained Aurora's trust we will get rid of Roman completely, take over his pack  and then I will deal with my traitorous daughter. I will torture her until she dies." He grinned wickedly.

"No!" I growled slamming my fist onto the table glaring at him. Michael furrows his brow shooting me a puzzled look.
"What has gotten into you?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes at me.
He then shoots me a knowing smirk.
   "Oh I get it, you've grown fond of my daughter."

I let out a sigh and plop back onto the chair across Michael.
"Yes I have grown fond of Aurora. I admitted.
And....... I'm thinking of making her mine. I don't want you or anyone else laying a finger on her." I warned glancing at each and everyone in the room.

Mia scoffed folding her arms and titling her head a little.
"And what makes you so sure she'd simply agree to this craziness?"

I smiled at Mia. "Of course she would and I know exactly how to get her to be with me."

"And how do you plan on doing so? She asked narrowing her eyes at me.
The girl isn't going to just forget about
Roman, his her mate for moon goddess sake!" She huffed rolling her eyes at me.

"Don't underestimate the man Mia. He's much capable of doing absolutely anything." Brayden grinned glancing Mia and I.
"What do you mean by that?" She frowned staring at Brayden.

"He's going to seek help from a witch." Michael claimed.
"What!" Mia questioned staring at me stunned.
"Since when do you deal with witches?
You know well what happens if we interact with them, don't you?"

"Relax I've been dealing with them since forever." I said nonchalantly.
Mia just shook her head and sighed.
"I hope whoever this witch is helps us to succeed in our plan." She muttered under her breath.

"Oh she will that I assure you." I smirked.

Poor Roman he had no idea what I did to his mate Jessica. He thought she wanted to be with me but all she wanted was him. I admit I was envious of him and I still am. He has everything which I don't.

My aim is destroy him in fact I want him gone permanently. Roman and I aren't blood siblings.
Ryan, Emily and I were adopted by Roman's parents. We were Omega's, our parents were killed by rogues which led us to being orphans so the alpha and his Luna were kind enough to take us in and care of us as their own.

As the years went by I craved to have everything Roman had, I wanted to be the alpha and lead the pack and when he found his mate I wanted nothing more than to snatch away his happiness.

I sought help from a powerful witch, she casted a spell on Jessica. The spell was to fall inlove with me and to forget Roman and the stupid bond.

The spell worked and jessica fell for me and every time I screwed her Roman was left in agonizing pain. I assumed by taking his mate, he'd be left in a vulnerable and weak state which would make it easier for me to take over as the alpha but the bastard was stronger than I thought.
Poor Jessica she died in the hands of her mate.
Roman hastily killed her because of what I had done.

Aurora's pov

I could no longer stand to be in the same room as him, he lied to me and I fell for it.

"What did he say?" He questioned.

"I don't want to talk about it. You lied, you didn't tell me about Mia."

"I didn't think it was important to tell you. Mia and I are history. I feel absolutely nothing for her nor do I care for her and this was the reason I didn't want to tell you about us because I knew how you'd react. You obviously feel threatened by her."

"You think I'm jealous?"

He let's out a sigh and runs his hand through his hair. "Of course you would. You wouldn't trust me being around her."

"Roman this entire situation is complicated and confusing and I don't know who to trust. Damien  mentioned you wanted to reject your mate so you could take Mia as a chosen mate? Is it true? Did you do that?"

He snickers. "I can't believe you would actually believe him over me, your own mate?"

"I can see what he's doing and you are playing right into his hand.
You know what I'm sick of this, I'm sick and tired of seeing both my brothers wanting you Aurora."

"First it was Ryan, he forcefully marked you and now it's Damien trying to feed you lies about me so he could have you.
Aurora can't you see what's going on?
He's trying to take you away from me, He's trying to brainwash you and turn you against me. You know what do whatever you think is right I had enough of this shit" He spat and stormed out of the room slamming the door behind him.

I was seated outside at the garden waiting for Roman to arrive.
It's almost two in the morning and Roman hasn't returned. I tried calling his cell but he refuses to take any of my calls. He's still furious with me not that I blame him. I was a fool to listen to Damien.
My wolf is pissed at me for taking Damien's side and not believing our mate. She refuses to speak to me.

"Aurora, what are you doing out here?" Damien asked coming out from the woods with his hands shoved into his pants pocket.

"Non of your business." I spat.

He sighed. "If you're looking Roman, he's at the pack house drinking himself to his death" He said and walked away into the house.

Is he telling the truth? I wondered. Maybe I should ask one of these guards?

"Do you know where your alpha is?" I approached one of the guards.
"He's at the pack house." The guard immediately responded.
"Could you take me to him?" He nodded.

As soon as we reached the large gates of the pack territorty Kayden showed up.
"Luna what are you doing here? It's three in the morning" He said as he glanced at his wrist watch.
"I want to see Roman" I sighed.

He nodded. "He's in his office, follow me I'll take you to him." He offered.
"Thanks" I mumbled trailing behind Kayden.

Kayden and I stood in front of the huge oak door. Kayden then gently knocked on the door.

"Enter" Roman yelled from the other side.
Kayden opened the door for me and motioned for me to enter, he then shut the door leaving me alone with Roman.

Damien was right Roman he's been drinking.
He had already downed two bottles of scotch and just opened another one recently. He's gaze was on the papers infront of him.
"Why are you here Aurora?" His voice was cold. He didn't bother looking at me.

"I came to apologize. I'm sorry I believed Damien over you and you are right about him. He's trying to manipulate me and I'm a fool to believe him."

He hummed with his gaze still fixated on his work.
He doesn't seem to be in the mood to talk or to want to look at me so I think I should just leave him be and give him some space, he's still mad at me.

Now that I've apologized I think I should go. It's obvious he doesn't want me here. Without saying another word I slowly turn to the door to leave.

Where are you going? He asked, halting me in my steps.
"Home." I replied with my back facing him.

I hear him let out a deep breath. "It's quite late and I don't want you out at this part of the night."

"I'm a big girl Roman, I can take care of myself and I most certainly don't need you telling me what to do."  I shot back and walked out of his office.
