Aurora's pov

"There's absolutely nothing we can do than to just wait until we come up with a better plan". Beta Lucas spoke.

"So you want me to wait until that bastard decides to kill my son?. I will not listen to you or your stupid plans. I'm the alpha and I will do as I please".Micheal growled out.

Once I see them disappearing into the hallway, I climb up the stairs and walk toward the kitchen.
Hannah had already finished washing up the dishes, she's now slicing up the vegatables.

"Where were you so long?".Hannah asked, stopping what she's doing to look at me.

My eyes darted around the kitchen, checking if anyone else is here. I have something to tell you. I whispered to Hannah.
She raised a brow. "What is it?"

I overheard the alpha and beta discussing something important.
"Aurora have you been snooping around?" she scolded.
No I haven't. I just happened to overhear them when I was on my way here.
I heard the alpha mention something about Ethan.

What about him?.Hannah implored sounding curious.
It appears that Ethan's been abducted.
She gasped loudly, her eyes widening.
"How did this happen? And who was so brave enough to kidnap the tyrant alpha's savage son?"

I don't know. He didn't mention it.

"Wow this is the best news I've ever received in a while. And to be honest I'd be over the moon if he doesn't return to the pack.
He deserves to die in the most gruesome way one could ever imagine and I hope whoever has him does just that"

I stare at her dumfounded. The Hannah I knew would never say something so mean. She's the sweetest and kindest person I've known and would never wish harm on anyone. Hannah was the fortunate one from us both, she never used to get beaten up like the way I did unless Ethan had done something to her which is why she wishes harm upon him.

Hannah and I just finished cleaning the entire house. It took us exactly  four hours to clean each and every room. I feel exhausted, my body is sore. I just want to have a little rest but I can't. I have to keep pushing myself until everything's completely done, otherwise Cassandra would have my head.
We both stride down the stairs, chatting about the usual pack stuff, when suddenly I heard Amanda yell out my name.

"Aurora, you little thief" she  bellowed, standing at the top of the stairs with her fist clenched at her sides and her eyes narrowed at me.

What have I done wrong now? I wondered as a bolt of panic hit me.

"Where is my necklace?". She demanded, scowling at me.
I stared at her puzzled. What was she talking about?
I don't know. I answered.
"Don't lie to me Aurora". She sneered as she rushed toward me.
My heart began pounding as she stood in front of me. She had this deadly glint swirling in her eyes.
I'm not lying. I don't have your necklace. I said.

Thud. She striked me across the face. I winced as I touched my cheek.

"Where is my necklace? She demanded once again. And don't you dare lie to me because I know you have it". She insisted.
I swear I have no idea nor did I see it in your room.
She yanked me by my hair dragging me down the stairs along with her.

"I'm going to teach you a lesson not to be a thief". Amanda sneered at me, dragging me toward the kitchen.

Please don't hurt me, I swear I didn't take it. I cried out, pleading with her but she ignored my pleas and continued dragging me, tugging harder on my hair.

Fresh terror reared up within me. My eyes widened with alarm when she stood by the stove, turning it on.
She grabs my wrist, forcing my hand toward the hot stove.
Please don't do this, I beg of you.

A loud scream tore through my throat as I felt the stinging pain rip through my palm. I cringed. It exploded in my head with a blinding whiteness. It made me feel dizzy.

"I think you've learnt your lesson now". Amanda smiled wickedly as she  pulled my hand away from the burning hot plate.

As soon as she left the kitchen I sobbed falling to the ground, clutching my burnt hand.
Hannah approached me, gently picking me up from the ground.
"Let's get you to the infirmary". She said.

You're all set to go. Sarah the pack doctor said to me as she just finished bandaging my hand.
I've given you some painkillers just incase the pain starts to get severe.
Thank you doctor. I smiled waking up from the chair.

I was about step outside but then Sarah called out my name.
"Aurora?"
Yes doctor?. I answered, turning around to face her.
"Let me know when you have made up your mind, okay?"
I nodded. Yes I will and thanks once again.

Hannah and I exit the infirmary. "Why haven't you thought about it as yet? I assumed you'd be more than thrilled to leave, what's holding you back? From leaving this hell?"

I don't know Hannah.... I'm afraid I guess.
Afraid?.... What are you afraid of?. She probed.

The alpha. He'd kill me if I leave and I don't want Sarah getting hurt because of me. I fear for her life as well as yours. We both know what a ruthless monster Michael is and if he discovers we're plotting to escape from here, he would punish us in the worst possible way.

Not unless we have a solid plan. And I'm sure Sarah knows exactly what she's doing. She did help a few other Omega's like us before, right?.
I nod my head in acknowledgement.
Then I don't see a reason why you should be afraid.
