Aurora's pov

"Whoah luna you look absolutely stunning!" Hailey complimented me.

I nod giving her a weak smile. Thanks for helping me. I muttered staring at my reflection in the mirror. I was shocked at the person staring back at me. It seemed as if I was a completely different person.

"We better hurry, the Ceremony is about to begin!" another older omega spoke as she rushed into the room, looking panicked.

When we almost reached the hall I could hear people chatting and laughing amongst themselves.
As I entered the room everyone stopped whatever it was they were doing and focused their attention on me.

I felt nervous and scared. I've never in my entire life been around this much people before. My father always kept me hidden, he didn't want anyone to know of his infidelity.

The ceremony is taking place in a massive hall fit for over a hundred wolves. The entire pack is present tonight as they are all gathered here to witness me became their luna.

Everyone has a smile on their faces, they all appear happy well accept for me. I don't want this, I don't want to be bound to Roman for a lifetime, knowing well what a ruthless monster he is.
I'm afraid my life would turn out much worse than what it was back then at my father's pack.

Speak of the devil. My heart races when my gaze lands on him. As much as I hate being mated to him, the man looks breathtakingly gorgeous in a royal blue suit.

One of the elders, Luke I assume is standing on the podium, speaking about pack history.

As I step near the stage a shudder runs down my spine when I feel Roman's hand wrapped around my waist, guiding me to the stage.

It's time for the blood binding. Luke announced.

I've never been to a blood binding ceromony although I'm aware of how it works.

Luke hands Roman a dagger, Roman takes the dagger and eyes me cautiously taking my hand in his.

"This is going to hurt a little" He murmured.

Roman swipes the dagger across my palm, drawing out blood.
I restrain myself from hissing in pain.
He then takes my hand over the bowl so my blood would mix with the packs.

"Do you Aurora accept your responsibility to be the Luna of the blood moon pack. You understand your link with your previous pack will no longer exist?" Luke's, voice was loud and bold so that everyone could hear him.

"I accept"

Roman then swiped the dagger across his palm, making a deeper cut and placing it over the bowl.

"Aurora you're now officially the Luna of the blood moon pack!" Luke announced and everyone began cheering.

I faced the crowd and smiled at my new pack although I knew it was just a facade. It won't be too long until I plan my escape.

Once the Ceremony was over Roman suddenly grabbed my wrist, pulling me down from the stage and dragging me out of the hall as everyone stared at us.

What the hell is his problem? One minute he was being all gentle and now he's being rough.

I gasped when he shoved me towards his gamma.
Keep her safe and make sure no harm comes to her. Do you understand? He growled, his eyes blazing with rage.

Mathew nodded. "Yes, alpha I will"
Roman nodded, sparing me one last glance before he rushed out with his men right behind him.

Roman's pov

I knew it, my intuition was right. Michael that bastard had sent those rogues to my pack.
They knew this was the perfect opportunity to attack since we were all busy with the Ceremony.

I rushed outside of the pack house to see my warriors in their wolf form fighting off the rogues.

Without thinking twice I also begin to shift into my massive black wolf. The change rippling through me with practiced ease. My bones shift, fur sprouting across my skin and senses sharpening to a supernatural acuity.

I surge forward, a loud roar ripples from my chest, my lips pulled into a snarl as I see a rogue charging towards me.

***

Alpha? Mathews voice rang out, pulling me away from my thoughts.
What is it Mathew? I ask rubbing my eyes.
I haven't had a wink of sleep after my warriors and I took down all of those rogues last night.
Unfortunately there was only one casualty, I lost a warrior in the fight.

The rogue is awake, you can start your interrogation. Mathew informed.
I nodded. I'll go down in a second Mathew. I replied.

My warriors somehow managed to spare one of the rogues so that I could
Find out if this was really Michael's doing.

The stench of blood, sweat and urine  makes me want to throw up as I follow Mathew into the cells where the rogue is currently being held.

"Alpha" Kayden, my delta greets, stepping away from the rogue.
I acknowledge him with a nod and glance at the rogue.

Has he said anything as yet? I asked, gripping the rogue by his jaw and forcing him to look at me.

No, he hasn't spoken a word, alpha. Kayden answered.

Get me more wolves bane and we'll see how fast he'll start talking. I growled.

The rogue began to shake his head. No, please don't, it hurts. He pleaded.

Then I suggest you start talking. I snarled, narrowing my eyes at him.

I will tell you everything you want to know but please don't kill me.
I smirked. I won't unless you tell me the reason why you attacked my pack.

We came to get the girl. He announced.
My brows puckered. Girl? What girl? I questioned.
Michael sent us here to get his daughter back.
