Aurora's pov

I dipped the washcloth into the half empty bucket water for the fourth time. With the back of my hand I wipe away the beads of sweat that stood on my forehead. I wrung out the excess water, wiping the floor as fast as I could before Hannah arrives.

Before she left to wherever she was going too, she gave me a list of chores which needed to be done before she returns.

I can't believe Hannah completely changed into a mean person in such a short span of time or unless she has always this way but pretended to be a good person infront of me.

Surprisingly I managed to get through the entire hall just in time as I heard her pull up the drive way.

Hannah resides in a small town house, it's an hour away from the pack house and now that I work for her, I also live here.
It's been two days since I'm now working here however I haven't saw her mate.

My blood ran cold when I see her mate enter the house instead of her.
Speak of the devil. He's here, standing in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" He
growled.
Dread twisted in me recalling the way he had almost killed me in that cell.

I.. I... I begin to stammer unable to speak.
I work here. I finally answered with a shaky voice.
He suddenly moved closer to me yanking me by my hair. I winced as he tugged on harder. I stiffened when his lips made contact with my neck.
"I'm going to have so much fun braking you" He whispered into my ear making my stomach churn.
And after I'm done with you my brother wouldn't want to have anything to do with you" He chuckled darkly.

As soon as he heard Hannah's raspy voice echoeing through the front door he quickly let's go of my hair and takes a few steps back, his hardened gaze still lingered on me.

You're back!. Hannah squealed in excitement, throwing her body onto him and wrapping her arms around his neck.

I felt a little uncomfortable standing here and watching them so I decided to leave and continue with whatever work I had to do in the kitchen later, when they aren't around.
Before I could leave Ryan shot me a sinister smirk.

I was busy dusting the furniture in the bedroom room when I heard Hannah shout for me in the living room. I sighed, dropping the duster aside and rushing towards the living room.

When I entered the living room I didn't realize she had company. There were three woman seated on the couch sipping on wine and chatting merrily.
I stood at the entrance of the living room with my head bowed.

"Aurora, tonight I'm throwing a party and I want you to prepare a few gourmet dishes for me and also once you're done, lay the table and serve everyone until dinner's over. Understood?" she ordered.

I resisted the urge to scoff and tell her do it herself but I held back my tongue and nodded my head like an obedient slave.

" Here once you're done with your work in the kitchen, use this and serve the guest" She said as she thrusted an outfit in my hand.

I nodded again and quickly turned away, hurrying towards the kitchen.
I only have a few hours and I need to get dinner started immediately. I gathered all of the ingredients and left them on the table.

I was in the middle of washing the dishes as the last dish was on the stove when Hannah and her new friends came waltzing into the kitchen making snide comments about me being too slow and how useless I am.

Her friends chuckled at her remark, finding it amusing. I rolled my eyes and ignored their taunts and continued with my work.

When I heard something fall, I quickly turned around and gasped.
Hannah had deliberately dropped the pot of steaming hot stew onto the floor.
The stew splattered everywhere, bits of meat, vegetables and broth scattered about, marring the floor.

What the hell is her problem?

Hannah scowled, glaring at me. I thought I had told you to prepare gourmet dishes not stew! She gritted out.

I have no idea what a gourmet dish is. I said feeling frustrated and annoyed with her behavior towards me.
Everyone began laughing including Hannah.

She's quite stupid and totally useless to be called an alpha's daughter. A woman with red hair and hazel eyes insulted me.

I clenched both my fists at my side and gritted my teeth. My blood was boiling with rage I wanted to knock off the woman's teeth as well as Hannah's.

Hannah cackled at her friends comment. You're right, sometimes I wonder if she really is Michael's daughter or if her mother lied just so that she could gain the attention of Michael.

I was now brimming with hostility towards Hannah. How dare she throw such filthy accusations at my innocent mother.
My mother isn't nor was she ever interested in my tyrant of a father, all she ever did was loath him.

I shut my eyes and took in a long deep breath. I reminded myself to stay calm, getting upset would do me no good instead it will land me back into the cells or maybe worse the ground.

Hannah crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at me.
"Whatever you've prepared, I want it all thrown away!
You will now have to prepare the dishes again which I tell you too  prepare"

I nod. "Good, here are the list of the dishes I want you to cook" She said handing me a small piece of note.
My eyes widened. I had no idea whatsoever how to prepare these fancy dishes.

You have an hour and a half to get everything ready and if you're not done by then, you would be severely dealt with. She warned before she turned on her heels and left the kitchen with her minions trailing right behind her.

When I arrived at the dining hall, I  instantly tensed, the hall was packed with werewolves, especially lots of male wolves. I felt rather uncomfortable and exposed in this red dress which Hannah gave me.
It was too short and revealing.

I mentally sighed. I had no idea that this was going to be such a huge party. Couldn't Hannah that bitch atleast tell me this much wolves were going to show up, what if the food isn't enough? Then what?

I kept my gaze low as I strode in carrying the food in my hand.
I struggled to keep my breathing even as I did so, a panic attack would not be welcomed now. One wrong move from me and I'm thrown into the dungeons.

Once I had layed the table, everyone began feasting.
I stood at the corner of the room just like Hannah instructed me too.

Aurora! She called out, her voice sickeningly sweet causing me to wince at the sound of it.
Wheres my drink? She demanded.

I forced a smile grabbing her now empty glass and filling it with wine.
As I placed it beside her she shot me a wicked grin.
