Xiangyue Park is a large company with a workforce of over 10,000 employees. To accommodate the needs of its employees, Xiangyue Park has two restaurants on its premises.
The main restaurant is located in the heart of the company's headquarters. It is a large, spacious restaurant with a modern décor. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including Chinese, Western, and Japanese cuisine. There is also a separate section of the restaurant that serves vegetarian food. The main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The smaller restaurant is located in a more remote part of the company's campus. It is a smaller, more intimate restaurant with a more casual atmosphere.
The restaurant specializes in light meals and snacks, such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries. The smaller restaurant is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to accommodate the needs of employees who work overtime or who miss meals.
Chu Zhichen diligently sent out notices to various departments and personally went to Yisi's floor. Given Xiang Mingzhang's positive intentions, it was important for him to communicate sincerely.
Before eleven o'clock, everything was prepared for the lunch meeting. The blackout curtains were drawn, creating a calm and intimate atmosphere in the spacious and transparent dining room. The east and west walls were lined with cold-cut counters and wine counters, which were stocked with an assortment of meats, cheeses, and wines.
The employees were thrilled to have an early end to their workday, and they quickly made their way to the restaurant. Middle and high-level managers arrived one after another, and the atmosphere grew increasingly lively.
Having spent the morning at the R&D center, Xiang Mingzhang arrived with a few engineers. With his tall and handsome figure, he naturally stood out. As he entered, people around him greeted him with nods and smiles.
Xiang Mingzhang responded with polite nods, his gaze sweeping across the restaurant. He spotted Chu Zhichen conversing with Peng Xin beside a white pillar. Even from a distance, Chu Zhichen's calm posture and dignified temperament made him appear more like a boss than Peng Xin. He stood out amongst the majority of attendees.
At that moment, Li Zangqiu arrived late and approached Xiang Mingzhang with a friendly smile. Since the two rarely met privately, they greeted each other and engaged in harmonious conversation.
Li Zangqiu offered comfort, saying, "It's great for everyone to gather like this. Mr. Xiang has a caring heart."
Xiang Mingzhang responded politely, "I hope people don't think I'm just here to show off."
Li Zangqiu quickly dismissed the notion, saying, "Why would anyone think that? I've always wanted to foster more connections between our companies, but I've been too traditional and afraid of utilizing the wrong methods. I sincerely thank Mr. Xiang for making arrangements today."
Xiang Mingzhang modestly replied, "It was just a spur-of-the-moment idea, and Secretary Chu is the one who implemented it."
Li Zangqiu praised, "Zhichen is becoming more and more capable. He used to be playful, so it's good to see him grow through proper training."
Xiang Mingzhang continued, saying, "How about the employees that Xiangyue transferred to the sales department? If they find it difficult to adapt, Mr. Li, please guide and treat them as your own."
Li Zangqiu jokingly responded, "That's going too far. We are all in this together, so how could we be dissatisfied?"
Xiang Mingzhang took a sip of whiskey and said with relief, "Then I can rest assured."
The restaurant buzzed with conversation. Xiang Yue had seen several acquisitions and expansions in recent years, continually bringing in new talent. The regular employees had integrated well, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
