Five minutes later, Director She was carefully placed into the car and swiftly transported to the nearest hospital.

The conference hall buzzed with discussion, unable to be subdued for a prolonged period. No one understood why Director She had suddenly encountered a medical emergency, leading to a plethora of speculations and conversations.

The tea and desserts became an afterthought, untouched by anyone. The waitstaff promptly removed the tea set and hastily replaced it with bottles of Perrier water in response to the urgent situation.

Meng Tao, his shirt soaked with perspiration from the shock, carefully aided in getting Director She into the car and hurriedly returned to seek guidance from Xiang Mingzhang. "Mr. Xiang, should we consider temporarily canceling the promotion meeting?"

Xiang Mingzhang reminded him, "While Xiang Yue may be hosting, it is ultimately the decision of the authorities in charge."

"Then..." At this moment, Meng Tao lacked the courage to inquire about the official representative's opinion.

Just then, Chu Zhichen entered from outside, remaining as composed as he had been prior to the incident, with a slightly more assertive stride.

Chu Zhichen glanced at Meng Tao, handed him a pack of tissues, and addressed Xiang Mingzhang, "Two individuals have already been transported to the hospital, and the experts from the hospital have been notified. We have preserved samples of the food and beverages served at the venue and will promptly have the tea consumed by Director She tested."

Meng Tao wiped away his sweat and stammered, "Thank you, Secretary Chu. Now..."

"Don't worry." Chu Zhichen understood his concerns. "A team leader of equivalent rank as Director She accompanied him to the hospital. So, two members of the selection team are currently absent, and they will need to discuss matters there."

Xiang Mingzhang asserted, "The presentation should continue."

The participants were numerous, with some traveling from other cities. Cancelling and rescheduling the event would prove costly and difficult to coordinate once again.

Chu Zhichen concurred, "This is the most optimal solution. The issue can be downplayed as relatively minor, rather than blowing it out of proportion. If we were to cancel and reconvene, it would reflect poorly on Xiang Yue."

Indeed, half an hour later, the selection team determined that the presentations would proceed.

The scene remained tumultuous, with the emcee striving to apologize and mollify the audience, albeit to little avail.

Stepping onto the stage, Chu Zhichen requested that the emcee take a break and then took hold of the microphone, calmly announcing, "Please find your seats as swiftly as possible. The self-reporting session will commence shortly. If time is limited, each representative's presentation duration will be shortened."

Insufficient time would undoubtedly impact the efficacy of communication, a foremost concern for all companies.

Seated amongst the audience, Xiang Mingzhang maintained order, vigilantly observing. Instructions held more sway than negotiations, especially when asserting one's authority. The swiftest means of quelling chaos was to introduce a new dynamic.

After Chu Zhichen's address, he gestured for the staff to readjust the projection, and the large screen once again featured Xiang Yue's presentation.

One by one, attendees found their seats, and the chamber gradually lapsed into silence.

Chu Zhichen handed the microphone to Meng Tao and whispered, "You needn't address anything else. Focus on explaining the plan to the best of your ability if you aim to rectify the situation."
