Engraving the seal took some time, so Shen Ruozhen left his contact information and planned to pick it up once it was completed.
As part of the process, each customer received a small tassel pendant as a gift. Although it was a nice gesture, Shen Ruozhen hesitated to puncture the seal or the square printing pad, as he had a matching official seal of the president in his collection of old items.
Shen Ruozhen selected a box of plain letterheads, which contained dozens of sheets, enough to last him a long time in an era when letters were a common means of communication.
After leaving the printing company, Xiang Mingzhang asked, "Are you satisfied with the outcome?"
Shen Ruozhen smiled and responded, "I am indeed satisfied."
Given that his contemporaries often used official seals to sign agreements and documents, Xiang Mingzhang wondered, "Where should the seal be imprinted?"
Shen Ruozhen held the box of plain paper and said, "I can stamp my seal on the letter after I write it."
Xiang Mingzhang contemplated this, thinking that in this day and age, Shen Ruozhen seemed to be one of the few individuals who still wrote letters. He then inquired, "Who do you plan on writing to?"
Having encountered numerous individuals in the 21st century, most of whom were within the same city, Shen Ruozhen also had business partners scattered throughout the country.
To Xiang Mingzhang's surprise, Shen Ruozhen replied, "I will write to you."
Taken aback, Xiang Mingzhang asked, "What would you write to me?"
As a breeze gently blew through the street corner, Shen Ruozhen adjusted his hair and dictated, "I will attend the letter exhibition at Mingzhang's, and I want to express my gratitude for the gift. It made me extremely happy."
Xiang Mingzhang couldn't help but feel flattered, unable to determine who exactly the "extremely happy" person was. With the green signal light flashing, he quickly grabbed Shen Ruozhen's arm, and together, they crossed the street.
The two of them strolled aimlessly, not wishing to part ways, their lingering thoughts keeping them together until the evening when their legs grew tired from walking.
When Shen Ruozhen returned home, Mrs. Chu and Chu Shihui had just arrived as well. They had gone to find Zhou Kesen, who was planning to visit the cemetery that day. The three of them decided to visit Chu Zhe's grave together.
Excitedly, Mrs. Chu exclaimed, "Old Zhou also thinks the new building is wonderful, so we've decided to move ahead swiftly. The location is highly sought-after, and we wouldn't want to miss out by delaying it."
Shen Ruozhen explained, "Lawyer Lei is quite busy again. The share transfer has just been finalized, and some procedures are still being processed."
"It's alright; the law firm has plenty of people to handle it," Mrs. Chu assured. "We can pay the deposit and start moving in. The rest can be taken care of gradually."
Shen Ruozhen nodded, realizing that it would be beneficial to move to a new place. It would provide an opportunity for everyone to settle down and organize their equipment, although it would likely take at least half a month to fully settle in.
Arriving at the company on Monday, Shen Ruozhen sent a message to the Yisi leadership team and then personally visited each department to inform them about the upcoming move and to coordinate the process in advance.
With Zhou Kesen at the R&D center, Shen Ruozhen decided it was finally time to pay a visit to the ninth floor.
As soon as he entered, the office area came alive, with everyone putting their work aside to gather around. Even Peng Xin emerged from the director's office upon hearing the commotion.
