You felt happy that they're looking for you, it was even surprising that Iguro participated the search himself and was left alone for some reason Douma didn't even mention because it was fun to leave it that way. His smirk grew into a grin when he sees your eyes sparkle in joy, but you weren't smiling or anything to keep any suspicions out. It was too late on your part though, Douma already saw your love for the serpent pillar.

"I see how your eyes twinkle in interest at this man" he snickered, but you didn't pay any attention to him.

Now that was new, you would always entertain his teasing and wouldn't back down even if it meant for you to slice a part of his body in annoyance. Douma tilted his head at this, you were too focused on watching Iguro that you actually forgot that you can approach the pillar anytime you want and leave him there by himself.

"Now now" Douma ushered "That's too much staring, don't you think?"

You snapped out of your daze and looked back at Douma who had a shit eating grin on his face making your mood turn into a sour one since he was being complicated and you didn't like that indeed.

"I can't believe that you're actually letting me see him" you answered his question, that is by the way isn't connected to your answer at all.

Douma shrugged it off like nothing before he open his fan to cover his fact in order to act bashful in front of you, although it wasn't really necessary. He was just trying to annoy you until you try to attack him because of his teasing, it wouldn't be soon enough that the serpent pillar will notice their presence.

"Do you want him to see you?" Your eyes widen at his suggestion.

"For what? He would put a sword on my neck" you hissed at him.

Douma didn't pay attention to you at all and just continue with his dilemma, which was setting you up into getting seen by the serpent pillar. He smiled at the thought of you being found and then maybe, he'll be able to lure Iguro to his gruesome death by your help. Oh he will definitely give you a lot to feast later if he'd successfully kill this man, well you didn't have to know about his plan.

Does it matter that you should know? Maybe not, Douma could just play Iguro's death off as defending you from the attack and didn't mean to hurt the serpent pillar in the process leading him to his death.  What a plan by the uppermoon two Douma, Muzan would definitely love him for this.

"Maybe he won't" he encouraged as he turn to give you a reassuring look.

You on the other hand had a hard time trying to believe a word he said as always, "You're trying to kill me I just know it."

"Oh my sweet lotus" Douma simply chuckled at your accusation, how silly. "I shouldn't have let you live if I was going to kill you anyways."

As if that was going to assure you.

His offer was tempting, but this was Iguro. If it were another pillar maybe you won't be hesitant to approach them, you know how he is. Iguro wouldn't even care about you if you're there in front of him, let alone alive. He would cut your head off like nothing and would continue on with his day as if he didn't kill someone so important for the demon slayer corpse because they became a demon, no matter what happens. Iguro would find a way to hurt you.

All your thoughts were put to drain when Douma pulled your arm and pushed you to Iguro's direction, your eyes widen in shock and fear. Shock at how Douma just did that you, and fear that if Iguro were to acknowledge your presence now he would kill you.

"You" his voice had you straighten up from where you stood, eyes wide and lips slightly parted as if you wanted to tell him something but decided to stay that way.

Iguro couldn't believe his eyes when he saw you standing there the moment he turn around to search for you, he didn't really expected you to actually be there since it seemed to be impossible that you're alive after what happened. But seeing you here looking nervous and stupid, Iguro figured out that you were somehow saved by someone.

But his shock became wary when he saw your fangs being exposed when your lips were parted, Iguro stood there not knowing what to do. Should he even kill you? You weren't moving despite seeing him, but it could be a trap. Iguro couldn't trust you now that he concluded something, you were saved because Douma. Apparently turned you into a demon.

A demon.

"All this time you were alive and is now a demon" Iguro whispered towards you, his eyes observing your movement in case you'd do something to harm him.

Do you even have your memories intact? Were you like Tanjiro's sister? Can you even talk? Were you safe to be taken back to the headquarters? What should he do to you?

You on the other hand kept on looking at him in disbelief, Iguro wasn't moving at all but you were aware at how he's been eyeing your movement. You understand how he's keeping his guard up, if you were to talk right now you aren't sure if he'd take your words as a lie.

It's devastating that at some point you can't prove much about your loyalty for the corpse despite being saved by a demon.

"Iguro-san! Did you find anything?" Mitsuri's voice called out for the serpent pillar who couldn't utter anything at all.

Your eyes remain wide as the love pillar came into view with a worried expression on her face, she could see that she felt bad about something. Maybe they fought? Impossible, Mitsuri doesn't engage with arguments especially with Iguro. Was she also part of the search?

If so, how many were they searching for you?

Kanroji stood there in surprise just like you, she couldn't believe it. After you went missing for God knows how long, you're now in front of them looking shocked. You didn't move at all even when Mitsuri tried to approach you, but she was soon stopped by Iguro.

"She's a demon" he told her "Be careful, we don't even know if she remembers us at all or if she isn't out here to get something to eat."

Well that offended you, but Iguro has a point though. After all, you were already a demon. There are a lot of possibilities when meeting one, and you aren't any different from them.
