Sanemi wasn't having any of it.

He ran towards the market in anxiety as he tries to look for any signs of you there after failing to meet you at your estate, the wind pillar was supposed to be the one patrolling now as he was told that an upper moon has been lurking around. Though Sanemi find it rather weird that an upper moon would lurk around during the day.

How would they? When they aren't immuned to the sun, none of them can do such things.

But Oyakata-sama insisted to check and patrol the area, saying that the upper moon might be doing some work inside some estate or something. Maybe a brothel? But who knows, they'll still be attacking in the night. Which means you won't be in patrol tonight, and was tasked to be on stand by at the headquarters later.

It wasn't clear as to why Oyakata-sama changed his mind and put you on patrol instead, but he fears that when night time comes. You won't be able to escape the upper moon, they'd be in great danger if that happens. Also he has a feeling that it wasn't just an upper moon, maybe a lower moon too. That's why Oyakata-sama wanted someone to stay behind the headquarters.

Maybe the lower moon was supposed to attack there while the other pillars are busy fighting an upper moon.

Oyakata-sama is really smart.

A small huff was released from his lips as he stop from his tracks, Sanemi looked around the market trying to look for you. But still, he didn't see any glimpse of you.

"Looking for something?" a soft voice interrupted his thoughts making Sanemi turn around in alert, only to feel relief when it was just Shinobu.

The wind pillar nodded, "I'm looking for [Last Name]."

He stares at Shinobu for awhile as he observe her body language, all Sanemi could tell that she was as anxious as him and Shinobu was exactly looking for you just as Sanemi was.

Her dull purple eyes gave him a worried glance, "Why are you even looking for her? Isn't she on patrol?"

"That's the point! It was supposed to be me, not her!"

Shinobu paled at his answer, what did he mean it wasn't supposed to be you? What was he talking about?

"You don't mean" her lips quivered in fear "She tried to convince Oyakata-sama for the daily patrol."

"That's what I'm trying to say! An upper moon is lurking around the area and I can't even imagine what will happen to her if the sun's down!"

Weren't you thinking? Trying to get someone's duty due to whatever you were feeling at the moment?

Sanemi felt frustration running through his veins, his breaths were heavy and his brows were furrowed. He was clearly upset and so was Shinobu, you were risking your life once again.

Another heavy sigh left his lips as he finally thought of something, "We're going to look for her. I don't even fucking care about anything right now, I'm pissed off that she'd pull something stupid while I'm away."

"What can you even do when you're near?" Shinobu scoffed at him.

Sanemi gave her a glare, "I'd stop her from doing the shittiest things she'd ever think. Why? Did you ever stop her from doing something stupid?"

"I'm trying to prevent her from any harm that's going her way!"

He just gave her a dry laugh and shook his head, not believing a word she said.

"Yeah, as if she fucking listens to any of us. I'm not having it, just shut your mouth and let's look for her."

You were away from the headquarters, away from the town, away from the market. You're on a cliff, which was weird because you were supposed to patrol around the market. Why were you there?

Your eyes watch as the sun slowly sets without a care for your own safety, standing still at the cliff where you could see the view clearly. It was beautiful to be honest, despite all of the pain you felt for days, or weeks, or months, or years. Seeing how the sun comes down and the moon slowly rising made you feel somehow at ease.

Maybe it was some kind of hope that rose upon you? Not really, you felt stupid for even thinking about it.

As the sun sets, the moon took up its place in the sky as it hovers above the world to make everyone embrace the darkness of the night. You slowly made yourself sat on the snow filled ground, not minding your surroundings.

That was until a flirty laugh reached your ears.

"My my~ so my instincts was right, a beautiful woman is sitting on top of a cliff. Looking so broken, so empty."

You manage to turn around and look for the person talking, only to meet with nothingness. What the hell was going on?

"I'm right over here silly" a soft giggle interrupted your thoughts as a sharp nail pushed your chin upwards making you meet a weird multicolored eye.

He had a weird flirty grin and he has a weird fit for a human, his other hand was gripping tightly on a fan while his other hand now wraps itself under your face.

"You look so pretty that I can't help but want to have a taste" he giggled "But before I do that, you seem to be familiar.

The stranger gave you a small sniff making you struggle against his grip, "Let go of me!"

"Not so fast lotus" the man told you with a smirk "It seems that you're one of those pillars, how lucky am I to meet one of them."

"And the weakest one at that, easy to beat."

The man's fun and flirty grin changed into an evil one as he took his hand away from your face, "How rude of me to not introduce myself to a fine lady."

"I'm Douma, the upper moon two."
