The search for your dead or maybe alive body didn't still didn't end after all of their attempts on trying to find a single piece of evidence that you're somewhere near, one time Tanjiro was brought with them for the search and it made them hopeful– except for Iguro– that you might be somewhere around the forest. Shinobu and Giyuu were the ones trying to stay strong for the group, while Usui was the one to be alert of any suspicious sounds around the area.

Iguro didn't want to join them this time after they have been searching for the same place, so in Shinobu's annoyance and the group's displeasing gaze at him– what got him to part ways with them and search alone was Mitsuri who already had tears in her eyes when she looked at him– Iguro left the group to search on his own. Much to his displeasure, because he has to endure fighting demons all by himself especially when no other pillars accompanied him because of his behavior.

You being important to their lives was an understatement on Iguro's part, sure maybe the others were exaggerating about you. But no matter how it is, you were still someone significant in their lives. Especially Giyuu's and Shinobu, they've been worried sick although Shinobu shows her rational side most of the time as she tries to be neutral about it. No matter the result.

If you were dead, if you were alive, if you were to be a demon lurking around here somewhere. Shinobu would do what she has to. Giyuu on the other hand would love to sacrifice a lot of things for you just to keep you away from any form of harm, it doesn't matter if he has to fight everyone just to protect you. He was that kind of man, and everyone knows it.

Iguro continues to walk deeper in the woods with his hand hovering the handle of his sword, he wasn't going anywhere without seeing something that could lead him to where you are. Though he isn't sure about that part, since they didn't have any leads of you anywhere. But he's still going to look for you, not because he cares. But because he has to prove something to them.

When Douma went to roam around the woods where he fought you, he noticed the other pillars looking for you in despair. Especially after Sanemi found a glimpse of you somewhere in which the uppermoon concluded was when you went out, though he wasn't physically with you at that moment. He knew you go out sometimes to cool your head off, Douma knows the fact the you always come back whenever that happens.

With his utter curiosity for the group, he decided to follow them around. He noticed some pillars that he met which made him smirk in mischief, especially when he spots a certain serpent pillar in the group. Iguro was there, isn't that a surprise? Now the Douma thinks of it, the serpent pillar was the man of your dreams according to his observation. And the more the pillars moved, the more he followed them through.

He stopped mid track when he heard some arguing within the group which left Iguro alone for himself, Douma's smirk became a grin at this.

Now he's all by himself, what would my dear lotus think about this?

With an idea in mind, Douma decided to go back immediately to his estate to find you sitting outside of his home. You had a look of wonder, staying that way as you didn't find a reason to actually move around the place.

That's when Douma interrupted your thoughts.

"We're going out" Douma gushed as he pushed you out of the premises.

The both of you were running– well it was him mostly doing the work while he pushed you around like some child– Douma leads you somewhere around the woods, you didn't know the urgency of him leading you around. You didn't even know where the hell are you guys going.

"This isn't the right time, don't you think?" you grumbled at the happy Douma beside you.

The uppermoon simply decided about letting you out with him for the first time– well you usually go out when he's not around but he knows it– and he's leading you somewhere you didn't expect him to do, it was the cliff where you foolishly fought Douma because you didn't think it through and actually thought that you'd die from it. But alas, you're literally alive and is a demon.

"Remember this place?" Douma snickered in amusement "Do you know the reason as to why I brought you here in the first place?"

You shook your head at him "What are you trying to do here?"

He didn't answer your question. Instead, he just attacked you making you dodge his assault in surprise. Douma chuckled at how you were almost sliced in half by his blood demon art, if you weren't careful earlier you would've been dead meat since you weren't like him that'll recover so quickly. Douma is strong, and you were just fast.

This made you frown in annoyance.

"Is this your way of telling me that I'll die in this cliff after living a demon life?" you question him once more in anger, but Douma only shrug at you in response.

His eyes were looking at a certain area which made him grin because of what he found "I brought you here because of this."

Douma's hands were now placed over your shoulders as he pushed you towards the area he has been standing earlier, his head was now right beside yours when he leaned in to check your surprised face. The look that he had been anticipating for a long time.

"Did you see that? Someone's actually looking for you, or is he looking for someone else?"

With that snake hissing around his neck, his striped haori, and that mask of his that makes his identity unique in some ways. Your heart fluttered in surprise to see him there looking for something, or maybe someone. Could it be that he's looking for you?

No, that's impossible. He won't look for you, he'll never do that.

"I don't know why he's here" you told Douma who simply nudged your shoulder.

"Well, I overheard him and your pretty little friends talking."

Your eyes widen at the information, the others were there too?

"Does that mean.." you breathed, trying to process what was going on before Douma finished the sentence for you.

"They've been looking for you, unfortunately." He puts his fan over his mouth as he giggle "Doesn't that make you happy, Hashira-dono?"

You couldn't say a word, seeing Iguro there looking for someone was enough for Douma to confirm that he is indeed looking for you.

"Aren't you happy that they still care for you until now?"
