Another meeting was held a week after the pillars' search for you, which  was successful as Kanroji and Iguro found you. You were alive and healthy, the only unfortunate thing was you became a demon. That is one of the reasons why Kagaya held the meeting, to garner look into the results of meeting you as a demon so he could find a solution.

Amane was seated right beside her husband looking gentle as ever, despite the concerns for her ill husband. This made him hum in acknowledgement, you weren't beheaded.

"And this decision of not beheading her, why is that my child? Does she have a chance of becoming like that Kamado child's sister?"

" She has her memories intact, Oyakata-sama." Kanroji answered " I also told her to come back with the corpse, but [Last Name]-san didn't agree with my suggestion and told us something regarding the safety of the corpse."

If you can't go back and help them in the sidelines, then what are you doing now? Where are you even? Kagaya can't help but think about if, which didn't go unnoticed by everyone in the room. The look of their master's thoughtful expression made Mitsuri speak up more about your talk with her.

"But she also said that she'll come back one day, but now is not the right time to. I do not understand what she meant by that, all I know is that she's alive and hiding somewhere."

The others bowed in respect for Kagaya before each of them left by his command while Iguro and Kanroji stayed behind per request. It wasn't intended to be this way but Kagaya has other intentions for them.

His wife and children stayed behind to check on him just in case something happens, despite in the presence of two pillars. Amane and her children wants to assure that everything will be settled no matter what.

"I am guessing that the two of you realize why I let you stay behind" Kagaya's soothing voice reached their hearing, Kanroji and Iguro chorused a soft 'yes' as they wait for his next sentence.

"Our winter pillar might be a demon already, but knowing how she still remembers us does not make me feel fine that she is out there and might be alone. I want one of you to trace her down, I cannot hinder the other children of this task as I have missions assigned for them also."

Iguro and Kanroji watch as Kagaya smile. The pillars admire how positive and calm their master can be despite his condition, how can someone be so gentle and loving after the world gave him a cruel life?

Maybe that's the way Kagaya is, that is why they look up at him.

"I want you to investigate further and I trust that you do not talk about this with the others, am I understood?"

Both the love and serpent pillar look at each other questionably before looking back at their master.

"We understand, Oyakata-sama."

Kagaya's warm smile stayed there, despite how serious the situation is. He still manage to bring comfort within his children.

"Very well, then the both of you shall be dismissed."
