Bellas pov
I was walking to history of magic about to meet up with Pansy when I spotted the boys walking pasted further down the hall. "There acting hella weird you know" Pansy said from behind me as she had just walked up and seen the same thing.
"I know, it's been going on for like a week now".
It started around the same time I told Mattheo about everything but that wouldn't make them all turn weird? Unless he told them.. but he wouldn't do that, right?
"Draco acted like this a while ago, I'm sure you remember" she paused. "But it got better, and now it's back to before. I bearly fucking see him anymore"
"Yeah same. Mattheo comes around at night but when I wake up he's always gone"
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" She had an evil look in her eyes as we began walking to the classroom.
"Fuck around and find out boys"
~~~
It was around 10 pm when Mattheo knocked on my dorm. "Come in"
"Hi gorgeous" he said giving me as kiss. "You mind if I take a quick shower before we head to bed?" He asked.
"No it's fine"
As he went in to the shower I placed the spell on my door. Like the psychopath that Pansy is she obviously knew an alarming amount of detection and alarming spells. You connect the spell to and object on your body (I chose my bracelet) and when somebody opens the door my bracelet will burn, making me aware of when he leaves in the morning.
After Mattheos shower we cuddled in to bed like normal and fell asleep. A few hours later I woke up from the burn on my wrist and looked around to confirm he was gone. Dragging myself out of bed I managed to get dressed and slip out the door just as Pansy emerged from hers. We had chosen to keep Daphne out of this, mostly because her and Theo's date hade gone so well and she was currently oblivious of their absences due to her little love high.
We heard their voices as we closed in on the common room keeping hidden in the girls corridor. Mattheo, Draco and Blaise was there and after a few minutes Enzo and Theo joined and they all headed out the room.
We stayed quite far behind them sneaking around corners and keeping to the shadows. Eventually they came to a stop infront of a wall on the 7th floor. "They're going to the room of requirement" Pansy whispered from behind me.
"That actually exits? I thought that was some made up story" I said turning to her.
"Well look for yourself" she gestured to the wall and when I turned back around there sure was a freaking door and the boys were walking in one by one. Ones they had all entered the door disappeared.
"And how are we gonna follow them now?" I asked her as she began walking up to were the door previously was.
"Well it's suppose to show you what you need so maybe if we try and think of the fact that we need to know what they're doing it will aper?"
I gave her a questioning look, not really convinced that was gonna do it. But at the same time I guess it won't hurt to try.
We both closed our eyes, focusing our thoughts. But when we opened them again there was nothing. The wall was still a wall. "Any other ideas?" I asked waking up to the wall. The stone was the same as the one making up the rest of the school, as I dragged my hand across it nothing felt different, expect for there...
At one spot just in-between 2 rocks there was something. A magnetic pull of some sort, my fingers tingled as I dragged them over. "Pansy, come feel this" I grabbed her hand holding it to the spot but she just looked at me confused. "Yeah? What about it?".
"Don't you feel something?" I asked.
"No? It's just rock and cement, all I feel is a hard and cold wall. Why? What do you fell?" she took her hand away as I placed mine back.
"I don't really know but I feel something" I answered honestly. An idea hit me and I closed my eyes keeping my hand on the spot as I thought about getting inside the room.
After a while I felt something beneath my fingers shift, the cold rock was replaced with a smooth wooden feeling and when Pansy gasped behind me I opened my eyes to find that it had worked. The door was there, big and brown like before. "Come on, before it disappears" I said dragging Pansy in to the room.
The inside wasn't quite what I was expecting. It was filled to the brim with random things only allowing a small pathway to run though.
"It's the room of hidden things" Pansy said, still appearing to be in a bit of chock as she spun around inside the room.
"The what?" I asked. I knew of the room of requirement from my parents who had briefly mentioned it ones. It only showed up when a person was in great need of it and would create a room containing just what they needed. But I never heard of the room of hidden things.
"It only appeared when someone needs to store or hide something, meaning generations of wizards and witches had hidden stuff in here" she explained.
I looked around at the random things surrounding us, "Your telling me someone needed to hide a chair and a cabinet? And a freaking pillow?"
"Well I guess the room put random stuff here too. Otherwise how the heck were you gonna hide it if the room was empty" she said making a fair point.
Leaving the discussion we began walking along the pathway until we heard voices. The room seemed to have been bigger than I had first imagined as it took quite a bit of walking before we heard them.
We hid behind a pile of rubbish that had a slight hole giving us a perfect view of the boys. They were standing around an old looking cabinet, a bunch of books spread out on the floor and others pilled on the side of it.
"Have we tried this one?" Blaise said pointing at something in a book.
"Yeah, we tried that a few days ago" Enzo responded before going back to his book.
Draco was sitting on a couch reading trough some scrolls while Theo was feeding some birds? Why the hell were there birds in here?
Mattheo on the other hand was standing infront of the cabinet, arms crossed over his chest as he stared at it.
"Riddle mate, you can't scare the cabinet it won't magically fix itself just because you give it a threatening look" Theo said, seemingly done with feeding the birds.
Mattheos threatening eyes turned to Theo for a moment before giving up and grabbing another book from the pile.
Me and Pansy looked at each other, still confused on what the boys were up to. We stayed and watched them for around 15 minutes before we headed out, classes were starting in about an hour and we didn't want to get caught when they decided to leave. Instead we silently made our way out and back to my dorm, swinging by the great hall on the way and grabbing some breakfast with us.
Ones we were inside the dorm we got in to our uniforms before sitting down on the bed to eat our breakfast.
"So, what the heck were the boys doing?"
"Seemed like they were trying to fix a cabinet? I don't know why though" I responded taking a bite out of my toast.
"Why would they want to fix a cabinet? And why be so fucking secret about it" Pansy argued.
A previous thought was spinning in my brain. "What if they were told to do it?". I have thought about the possibility that Mattheo might be a death eater. I mean his father is the Dark lord it would make sense. That night when he removed his concealment charm for the first time to show his scars I did look for it, but there was nothing.
"Who would tell them to fix a cabi...." Pansy trailed off as she seemed to have come to the same conclusion I had. "No, that can't be the reason. I would know. I know everything about those boys, I would fucking know if they were death eaters" her voice got more mad the more she spoke. But she wasn't mad at me, she was mad that it was the most likely truth.
"What do we do?" she sounded hurt.
"I don't know"
