➹THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE➷

✾March 10th, 2013- 11:46: Sheffield✾

Lorenzo is scheduled to meet with Alistair tomorrow, marking their second encounter this year. He is eagerly anticipating the event, yet he can not help but feel a slight sense of restlessness.

He wonders if Alistair's persistent gaze was a form of judgment. If he recalls correctly, he was also rolling his eyes and scoffing whenever Lorenzo spoke, but then he would chuckle in a seemingly non-malicious manner.

It is quite uncommon, to say the least, as typically individuals who roll their eyes and scoff at someone do so because they hold a negative sentiment towards them.

Although Lorenzo does not believe that Alistair dislikes him, especially since they are strangers and there would be no reason for him to do so.

In the meantime, Lorenzo's mother departed to return to the local baby store to procure the remaining essential items, leaving her son in the care of his daughters. Fortunately, they were in a cheerful nature for now.

With a gentle sigh, Lorenzo dutifully discarded the beer bottles and cigarette packets, which were not used, honouring his mother's requests prior to her departure, and it was the initial step in overcoming his addiction.

Finally, he settled himself comfortably on the couch, ready to unwind. However, his moment of relaxation was interrupted when the doorbell rang unexpectedly.

With great effort, he rose from the couch and made his way towards the door to see who had arrived.

He presumed it was Felix and his mother returning from the baby store, but it was not them.

Lorenzo unlocked the door and opened it, coming face to face with Alistair, who had arrived a day earlier than expected.

"Hi," Alistair greeted with a solemn expression, while Lorenzo's jaw dropped in astonishment.

"May I ask the reason for your visit, Mr. Alistair?" Lorenzo enquired politely as he graciously invited him to enter his penthouse.

"It's perfectly fine to address me as Alistair. There's no need to use the formal title 'Mr.' By the way, your mother informed me that she had to attend a business meeting in Finland today instead of tomorrow. Therefore, she asked me to come over here to you. Additionally, there's a delivery truck outside carrying the essential items for your daughters. The delivery men are on their way up. Would you like them to assist you in assembling the furniture?" Lorenzo nodded in agreement, acknowledging that it appeared to be the most suitable course of action at that particular moment.

"Excuse me, I noticed that you didn't bring any of your belongings with you. May I ask why that is?" Alistair let out a soft chuckle as he carefully took off his blazer and placed it neatly over the couch.

"I have the items in my car and thought it would be helpful to assist you in organizing your daughter's belongings prior to retrieving mine." Alistair observed the bassinets and decided to respectfully take a look at Lorenzo's daughters.

"They are beautiful," he remarked with a gentle smile as he gazed upon the infants, who were wide awake and adorably looking up at him.

"Certainly, you may hold one if you so desire." Alistair smiled as he reached into one of the bassinets, gently lifting one of the twins.

"Have the names been assigned?" Lorenzo shook his head in disagreement as he lifted the other twin.

"I am unable to provide suitable names for them at this time." Alistair nodded his head in agreement as the infant he was holding gently grasped his finger, causing a loving smile to spread across his face.

Alistair and Lorenzo were gently rocking the babies back and forth, but this only caused them to feel drowsy. Within moments, they had fallen asleep and were carefully placed back into their basinets. The timing was perfect, as the delivery men arrived with the babies' equipment.

"I will open the door to allow them entry." Alistair stated to Lorenzo as he made his way to the door and opened it for the delivery personnel to cross the threshold with the packages.

"May we offer our assistance in the assembly of the furniture?" One of the delivery personnel posed an enquiry to the proprietor of the penthouse.

"Certainly, I appreciate that." Lorenzo graciously showed them the unoccupied guest room where the furniture was to be placed. While the gentlemen were diligently assembling the furniture, Alistair politely expressed his desire to learn more about Lorenzo.

Therefore, he patiently awaited his return to the sitting room area.

In the upcoming weeks or months, Alistair and Lorenzo will have the opportunity to become better acquainted with one another. It is possible that they will develop a strong connection during this time.
