Mrs. Guerriero was surprised to learn from Alistair that her son had collapsed and had been hospitalized since Monday.
Lorenzo had recently returned to work after an absence, and his colleagues had warmly welcomed him back. Unfortunately, he is now bedridden and in a coma, and the duration of his recovery is uncertain.
It is unfortunate.
Some time ago, Alistair made the decision to take a break from thinking about Lorenzo and engage in cleaning the entirety of the penthouse. While he was partaking in this innocuous activity, he stumbled upon a significant amount of confidential information within a box situated beneath Lorenzo's bed. As a result, he stopped the cleaning process and is currently sitting on the terrace, contemplating whether or not he should reopen the box and examine its contents.
Although Giovanni advised him to leave Lorenzo alone, he will not do so. After all these years, he has finally gotten the chance to see and communicate with Lorenzo, and he will not abandon that opportunity simply because Giovanni told him to. Besides, he holds more power than Giovanni. However, if he did not, that would not be a desirable outcome.
After taking a sip of his soda water and lime, he let out a sigh as he stood up, holding the now empty glass. He then proceeded to walk back inside to the kitchen to wash the glass. Once that task was completed, he made the decision to turn on the television, specifically for the purpose of checking the news.
"The CEO of Colossol Gymnasium, Mr. Giovanni Balestrieri has granted permission for a documentary about the incident that occurred on October 10th, 2007, in Birmingham to be released in the upcoming month. This news was revealed in an article published on www.theindependentsanctum.co.uk shortly after Mr. Balestrieri contacted them." Alistair was visibly upset as the reporter disclosed this information on the public broadcasting service.
"At this moment, a significant portion of the global population has responded with great excitement, as they eagerly await the disclosure of the exact occurrences that took place on that unfortunate day. For those seeking further information, please remain tuned until half past one or visit the website www.independentsanctum.co.uk." Alistair promptly turned off the television, secured all the doors and windows, retrieved his phone and car keys, and swiftly made his way to the parking garage.
He unlocked his vehicle, fastened his seatbelt, and embarked on his hour-long drive to Mr. Giovanni's residence to engage in a serious discussion with the intent of persuading him to cease the production of the documentary.
That will be a challenging endeavour, and there is a possibility that he may not be successful in achieving it.
